Excellent hotel, great price, friendly staff. I’d stay again!

The customer service was great. We had a warm welcome on arrival (I think the chap was called Owen) and also the lady who greeted us for breakfast was lovely too. The room was clean, comfortable, quiet and well maintained. Lots of parking available which all made for an enjoyable and stress free trip.

Lovely hotel but ruined stay by inconsiderate other people

Location was great Staff lovely

Awful smell of weed on our landing which drifted into the rooms. We had complained to reception who were aware of this and tried there best to sort but could not get rid of smell.

Quiet location & good value for money.

Great hotel. We have stayed a number of times. Staff always friendly. Breakfast good value. The Dragonfly Inn nearby is an additional bonus for an evening meal.

Beds are a little too soft but that is not going to be an issue for everyone. You have the choice of firm or soft pillows but not mattresses but I appreciate that this is not quite as easy!

Good apart from sofa bed issue and the one member of staff

Breakfast was good

Sofa bed my kids slept in was very hard and uncomfortable when I stayed at the same hotel 2 years ago it was 2 single beds instead which I requested but wasn't allocated with also I tried to extend my stay from two nights to three and was told the hotel was fully booked at the front desk but when I checked bookings.com there was plenty of rooms left which I found to be either because I was Scottish or because I wasn't welcome by the member of staff that seemed to be very reluctant to help

Great price point. Nice breakfast: range of hot and cold options. Good sized room, with tea/coffee, sofa. Free parking. Dog friendly. Nice reception staff. Clean and functional.

Central reservations were unprofessional on the phone. Also Message re our dog and arrival time never reached the hotel. Local staff sorted. Comfy bed but as I get older I like a king rather than a double.

We were allocated an accessible room which we did not request or need. Obviously everything was at a lower level and with my bad back it was frustrating and uncomfortable. Not sure why a non accessible room is charged more either.

Room was excellent - clean comfortable and a really good size. Unfortunately, we didn't get to try breakfast as we had to leave the evening we arrived as we made a mistake with the ferry - time to Ireland. We had booked our overnight stay at the Newport Holiday Inn as we thought we had booked an afternoon ferry from Fishguard to Rosslare and as we had driven from Cornwall and had another car journey to accommodation in Ireland the following day, the overnight stay seemed sensible. However, it turned out we had booked a 1.30am ferry crossing to Ireland which we only realised when we received a reminder text from the ferry company. So, we had to book out of the hotel in a rush and are extremely grateful to the hotel staff for all their help. They went above and beyond to help us. They were wonderful!

Comfortable stay - nightmare to find.

Breakfast was very good - plenty of choices

Location- very difficult to find! The sat nav sent us down the motorway three times! It took us 45 minutes to find it from the end of the road it was on - I was very stressed by the time I arrived . Receptionist said lots of people struggle to find them

The room itself was nice. Air con. Nice bathroom products.

I booked a double room and we had two single beds pushed together with separate duvets etc which wasn't the best. Breakfast was pretty mediocre in my opinion. No staff around when we were wanting to check out. Had to wait almost 10 minutes for anyone to show

Three enjoyable days where returning to the holel was something to look forward to.

Staff were so friendly and helpful, they made our stay a true delight.

A choice of a thinner duvet cover, the supplied ones were too hot to sleep under if you feel the heat, even with the aircon running. This was the only thing I personaly found a little uncomfortable, I found a work round using just the cover.
