Great beds, friendly staff, easy bus ride into Newport and Cardiff.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. The beds super comfy and the shower was really powerful.
Would have liked a better choice for breakfast such as flavoured yoghurts, fresh fruit, etc.

Never again!
We have always used this hotel as we visit family regularly
The heating took time to even start- cold room over the motorway( with curtains and windows closed). Staff obliging moved us to lower ground room. He said are you ok with dogs- I thought he meant in the reception, as there was a 3 sitting there. No, this turned out to be dog friendly rooms- it dawned on me in the night. Too late to move now! I have asthma- this is not a joke. My bed all lumpy but worse, a terrible smell on entering the room we opened the window and door to ventilate. I couldn’t request another change so thought it was just me. It wasn’t- I asked a dog owner at breakfast where did his dog sleep. He said all the lower floor is for dog owners!!!! Never again. This could have simply been explained prior to using the room. Awful experience, did the dog sleep on the bed before me??
