Riverside Annex at Ashbank with hot tub

The property was so cozy, clean and especially the location, it was by the riverside with beautiful nature views. There was some park across the river with horses around. It was so so beautiful and calming. I would want to live there all my life and still won’t have enough.

Location and being able to sit down on the river relaxing absolutely was so nice

The annex is very clean and is an ideal size for me and my partner. The annex is situated in the garden with access to a hot tub and the garden is big and kept tidy. You can go to the river at the bottom of the garden, I swam in the river which is full of brown trout. It is a very short drive to the lake district, only takes 30 minutes to get to Keswick. The owners of the annex are very friendly. Main positive for me is that it is so peaceful. Either having a cup of tea by the river on the morning or lazing in the hot tub on the evening it is quiet and relaxing. Bonus if you get clear skies at night, the stars are quite visible from the garden with little light pollution.

Nothing I didn't like. Highly recommended.

Hot tub freezing on arrival. 11.8 degrees didn't get to use which was disappointing . Bathroom skirting needs paint touch up. Invest in some nice new white bedding.
