Nothing to do with the owners or apartment but the street traffic was exceptionally noisy first thing but luckily we were up early and out.

Central position. Comfortable.
Had not been cleaned. No communication with owners despite making several calls and sending numerous emails. Have raised a complaint but have still not heard anything back from Booking.com or the owners. There were clean towels and bedding in a store outside the flat so we serviced the property ourselves as there was nothing else we could do.

it was a bit noisy due to main traffic and restaurants near by, but we knew about it from the other reviews. It was a very small inconvenience

Nice wee flat
Small flat, but clean and comfortable. Tea, coffee, sugar, soap and dishcloth provided, which was good. It was a great location in the centre of town. Loads of shops, restaurants and pubs around. Owner suggested parking at morrisons, which is a 5 minute walk away and very reasonably priced. Would stay again.
Not easy getting parked to unload the car, found that quite stressful. Can be a bit noisy with traffic, but didn't stop us sleeping, it's quieter during the night.

All the comforts of home, whilst waiting to move into our new home
The apartment is a great little place! Some wonderful touches to make it really homely. The hosts were always at the end of the email and couldn't be more helpful. The cleaners were a lovely couple that changed the bedding and towels reguarly and were always up for a chat. We stayed here as we were in the middle of a house move and wanted somewhere I could be comfortable on my days off... this was definitely the place.
Honestly the only thing holding this great little apartment back is the traffic noise. Living in Penrith we know the road is busy and a main route through the town, but sometimes it even annoyed us. We used earplugs throughout the stay (3 weeks in total) so they are a must!
