wonderful and would definately use it again

we got a little lost, but called host and she stepped outside of the property to show us where to go, weather wasn't our friend but the stay was wonderful and so many little extra touches made it that bit more special especially as it was valentines day.

A cosy retreat for 2

The shepherds hut was spotlessly clean, cosy and well equipped. It is clear that a lot of thought had been given to creating a comfortable place for 2. The outside space was a bonus, private and a pleasant place to sit and also had a fire bowl for chillier evenings.

Fabulous night in a very cute Shepherds Hut !

Absolutely gorgeous place to stay, spotlessly clean & everything you could possibly need. Lovely friendly host Christine😊 loved our overnight stay. 100% recommend staying here ! Really close to racecourse too for Newmarket nights.

Highly recommend!

The whole stay was wonderful from start to finish. Christine has thought of everything. We brought a little gas stove to cook kebabs on and finished them off over the fire pit, which was prepared for us. Highly recommend toasting smores under the stars! We will definitely be staying again! Thank you so much!

Beautiful setting, and beautiful decorated cabin. Little touches such as drinks in the fridge and snacks along with lovely homely decor made this a really lovely stay. Christine was so friendly and helpful and check in was quick and easy. I’ll definitely be back!

Lovely little shepherd's hut stay

Loved everything about it. The hut is modern, very clean, and super cute. Amazing how they've managed to fit in a decent mini kitchen, as well as loo, shower, chair and double bed. There's also a tv on the wall at the end of the bed and a little window overlooking the paddock. There's a gorgeous outside space with a table and chairs and lots of room. Backs onto fields belonging to one of the big stables. Absolutely wonderful stay.

Great place for the horses

The owner of the property was amazing and so helpful providing us with information for places to visit. I was particularly interested in watching the horses training letting me know what time and location. Providing places to go for breakfast and about the charity shops from which I was lucky enough to purchase a hat for the races. We had a fire pit to enjoy a drink and snacks to enjoy

Great location, super friendly host, lovely little thoughtful touches. Lovely outside area. Comfortable bed and well designed and decorated. Nice and warm.

The bathroom was very small, due to the nature of the hut so made moving around in there a challenge.

Shepards hut

Jan greeted us like we were old friends, so welcoming and the hut was clean and lots of extras including prosecco! Bed was very comfy, we will definitely stay again. Highly recommend people to stay.

The host was incredible, nothing was too much trouble! The location is excellent - so quick and easy to get into Newmarket town itself. Facilities were great, had everything one could need and the bed was very comfortable. Will definitely stay again when back in the area!
