Charming Kings road

Great little cottage very close to the centre of town. No parking, but multi story close by and good. Multi day rate of £12 good value. The house itself is well equipped and comfortable - the heating we could control ourselves which was great, as it was chilly when we arrived. Great value for money.

My only couple of minor comments would be: 1. a more comfortable chair to go with the sofa - tricky to talk to each other if all on the sofa in a row and the rocking chair is hard. 2. Ask the cleaners to pay attention to the "not so obvious" e.g. clean the front door/sill, cobweb etc. Nothing that impacts the stay, just enhances the overall impression. Beds, kitchen etc were all very clean and great linen.

Excellent location, peaceful despite proximity to town centre. Beds really comfortable , lovely bedding and towels. Lovely bright kitchen.

Musty, unpleasant smell in the living room. Kathryn has said she will investigate. Sofa stained and uncomfortable. Shower door is broken (runners missing) so can't be closed properly. No handrail in shower. Crack in the shower tray. Staircase - steps very steep, and does not provide a full bannister. This could be provided on the wall, on the left hand side. Only two side plates provided, and one of them is chipped. Mismatched cutlery. Curtains in bedrooms too small and cannot cover the window due to the fittings on curtain poles.

It was as described and the bed was so comfortable. Kitchen packed with everything you need

House was clean and well stocked with all we needed. Beds were exceptionally comfy. Location was excellent, just a very short walk into the town center. I would 100% recommend this house. Host was very responsive.
