Nothing. Just be careful if you come by car, still not sure but I think it is not possible to drive up to the apartment because it is in a closed zone. Have not yet received a ticket though..

Quite a lot of stairs, host a little unresponsive.

The apartment is beautifully designed, beautifully presented, extremely well equipped and immaculately clean. We loved the polished plaster walls, the brass topped table, the herringbone floors, the railings, the extensive seating areas and the general ambience. The views from the terrace are charming and the location far exceeded our expectations. Piazza Santo Spirito, at the end of the road, has a lively atmosphere, wonderful restaurants and yet is only a short walk from the more touristy parts of old Florence. Florence is a very walkable city and everything is very accessible from here, yet it is very peaceful and quiet when you return. We stayed during the heatwave and we were delighted to find the aircon was excellent. This is a fantastic choice for a family with teenage children, or 2 or 3 couples as there is plenty of space for everyone to do there own thing! Carlotta was a delight to deal with - very responsive and willing to help - definitely worth reading her restaurant recommendations - my liver at Trattoria Casalinga was sublime, where, if you want a seat outside you should book. I couldn't recommend this apartment highly enough.

Whilst the Wi-fi is perfectly good for general use, we were visiting during the Football World Cup and it struggled with streaming live matches during peak times. This apartment isn't suitable for anyone with mobility issues as it's on the 3rd floor and there is no lift. However, if you're fit enough to walk around Florence for the day the stairs won't be too much of an issue.
