We had a great time in Florence

Amazing old monumental building and interior. It looks like you live in 400 years ago. The house lord was kind and the coffee bar was great. Nice balcony, a lot of space in house. The toilets were modern and clean.

Just taking a shower was not easy and comfortable due to the same old setup, and the beds were not comfortable, with each move in the bed we waked up because of creaking.

Very convenient to walk to Ponte Vecchio and central Piazza della Signoria Florence

Once we worked out that the reception was part of the hotel next door, and not the address of the apartment all way easy to checkin and pick up the keys. Plus we added car parking in, and could leave the car in a secure park next to the apartment.

I cannot think of how I could have made the stay any better !

Beautiful experience.

It was a beautiful place in a lovely, quiet location. We walked everywhere but found delicious gelato and panini right around the corner. We were even allowed to park our car early so we could explore the city before checking in and leave it a little longer after checking out.

We had a lovely stay in Florence.

The hostess was absolutely lovely and the apartment provided our family of five with ample space. Loved that there was a washer/dryer and the location of the apartment was in close proximity to the train station.

The apartment has three bathrooms, but only one has a shower while the other two have bathtubs.

I wish we had stayed longer!

This is a fabulous location, 1/2 block from the avenue along the river and convenient for walking to the historic sites. We parked inside the private, gated courtyard that this historic apartment shares with the historic hotel that faces the river. The apartment was quite large and furnished with a quirky mix of fine antiques and contemporary art. The clothes washer also functions as a dryer, although we were stumped as to how to turn down the heat. To our surprise, there were three bathrooms. We skipped the hotel's breakfast and opted for pastries at the corner coffee shop.

We were instructed to call them on arrival but making calls in Italy can be a challenge. It would have been better for them to tell us to go to the hotel lobby. As it happened, someone appeared at the courtyard gate and led us to the lobby.

A great place for a traditional Florence break.

Just a 10 min walk from the train station with inside and outside space. Great apartment with everything you needed for an enjoyable stay. Close to the river and walking distance to all areas of Florence. Beds really comfortable and three bathrooms two with baths and toilets and one with a shower and toilet. Washing machine was a great asset and the fact the hotel was next door meant there was someone close if we needed anything. We were able to leave our luggage there after check out which was hugely helpful as our train wasn’t until the evening.

wifi wasn’t brilliant but we didn’t really need it.

Superb

We had a wonderful stay at Contemporary Suites. The owner is a very helpful, kind and sweet lady, and she went over and above to make our stay comfortable. The B&B is equal distance from Firenze Centrale & Uffizi and is a 15-20 minutes' walk. Beatrice welcomed us with open arms and took great care to have all the details in place. and help us with all our needs. She has not cut corners, and all appliances are top notch, right to having Baby Bliss Hair Dryer. Beds are very comfortable, and we had restful sleep. She even gifted us Rose (which we left behind in the fridge since we do not drink) and a local orange marmalade (which we dearly enjoyed and brought with us to USA. Beatrice, I finished it off and wish I could find the same product here in USA). If you are traveling with kids and need space, this is the place for you.

We did not reach out to her for extra towels, but I think it will be handy since the master bath has a claw tub and needs extra towels to keep floor dry.

An amazing stay in Florence

The place is simply amazing. Big but still welcoming. It can easily host 3,4 families. It was clean, the heating was a plus, it has anything one might need even for a longer stay. The kitchen is well equipped. The bigger bathroom of the accomodation is amazing. It is within walking distance from the city center. I would totally recomment it. Beatrice, the host, was very nice and welcoming.

Nothing to mention. Maybe a little difficult to find the entrance, but they were quick to answer and guide us. I was expecting a sign indicating Contemporary Suites, but it says Hotel Principe, which is confusing.The entrance to the car parking is on Via Curtatone 8 and not Curtatone 2 as indicated on booking. There is also an entrance through Hotel Principe, on the other side of the building (Lungarno Amerigo Vespucci).

Perfect location, great atmosphere!

The place is perfect! Wonderful location, great staff and cozy, art atmosphere! The terrace was adorable and perfect for a glass of wine after a whole day of exploring the city! The parking option is an absolute advantage - you park right next to the accommodation. Thank you for the amazing stay! I would definitely love to be your guest again!

Greatly furnished and well preserved 19 century apartment, great location just to the river, great terrace with great view to the garden, clean, well equipped, we particularly liked a generous offer of coffee capsules for espresso machine, Birds singing in the dawn, which was specially beautiful. Very comfortable and spacious place.
