The conceirge service is the best that I've encountered in Italy -- kind, gracious, always eager to be helpful. Although we had to wait 45 minutes past check-in time for our suite, they comped us drinks in the lobby bar while we waited.
We rented the 2-bedroom apartment which was spotless except for some areas in the kitchen and dust in the corners...a thorough deep-clean and then the meticulous daily housekeeping would be sufficient to rectify, but it wasn't as bad as I feared when one review said it was "dated." It isn't at all! The style is timeless and classic. Although the conceirge mentioned turn-down service, we never received it the 3 nights we were there.

Lungarno Hotel is a beautiful run place, and its people are great. The Apartment was in a great location, amentities good, a little run down and beds were not comfortable. Overall a good stay.
They need new mattresses Housekeeping good but just did the minimum.

Clean, spacious apartment and friendly, helpful staff, also easy to get to most places (only took a taxi to/from airport and to one dinner).
While the apartment was clean and spacious, comfortably accomodating our family, the walls/ceilings were quite thin and can hear a lot of the traffic very early in the morning. Would have been nice to have gotten more sleep.
