Location was great! it was a short walk away from some of the known tourist spots, but in the quieter side of Florence. It was very very close to Gelateria Della Passera which is one of the best Gelaterias in the world, so that was a bonus, we had to order everyday! The check in experience was super easy as the instructions were sent. we were given complimentary water which was a huge plus as we hadn't gone to the grocery yet. Host was also very responsive to my messages.
Since it is near a plaza you can hear some noise outside but nothing too bothersome. There were a few flies in the kitchen that entered somehow, but we were quickly able to kill them and overall the place was clean. A bit hard to bring large luggage up the stairs but such is the case for most apartments anyway in Florence. Room is in the 2nd floor and there is no lift.
