Ponte vecchio view open space

The balcony was INCREDIBLE. A fabulous view with sheltered table and chairs to enjoy it. Comfortable bed.

The door handle inside was broken and falling off, we had seen this in a previous review so it clearly hasn't been fixed. The bathroom sink drained very very slowly, we used the one in the kitchen mostly. There was no teatowel to dry anything in the kitchen. All these things were pretty minor, but late at night we went to get into bed and there was about x20 2-inch Dark hairs in between the sheets and on the pillows which I found very unclean. We spend time shaking out the sheets but there was nothing else we could do at the time of night.

I liked the location.

The fact there was no coffee. We had a coffee machine without any coffee!! For the price paid we should be able to have a simple cup of coffee in the morning! When you book a cheap hotel or B&B they provide you with such- it’s just the little things that makes people stay enjoyable….Also the cleaning facilities were quite poor. No washing up liquid to wash a plate nor was there a tea towel to dry your dishes. The shower was so dirty it looked like it had legionella! There was no waste bin in the bathroom to dispose of your sanitary waste! And the small bin we did have, didn’t have a plastic bag!!! The toilet wasn’t clean- dust particles everywhere and hairs on the floor etc- so I actually took pictures of the bathroom because of my disgust. In the actual shower there is nothing to place your soap or shampoo, so you have bend down and then wet areas like your hair you actually don’t want wet! A simple plastic chair or table could solve such a problem, so quite annoying because the price you pay can afford such! The sitting room floor wasn’t clean. The pictures hanging on the wall are full of dust too… And we only had two thin toilet paper rolls that we basically finished on the first night….. The sinks were blocked, and when we took out the plug to try to get the water out- OMG the silver plug was full of germs… green and black and with hairs I could go on…..
