If your dream is to stay in the heart of Florence, in a cozy location surrounded by the ancient brick medieval roofs, the apt will give you this opportunity. Located in the top Floor of an old 14th century palace, it faces one of the most famous Piazza in Florence, Piazza della Signoria, that has been the center of the scenario for the most important events happening in Florence since the Middle Age. -------------------------------------------------- When ------------------------------------------------- staying at apt, guests can enjoy a stunning view over the arches of Loggia dei Lanzi and Palazzo Vecchio through the windows of the living room: if the city of Florence is an open-air museum, it ensures a privileged panorama. Being this a pedestrian area, the apartment is very quiet and full of light, furnished with care and taste. It is fully equipped with air-conditioning, WiFi Internet connection, satellite TV, washing-machine, dishwasher, microwave, American coffee machine, hair-dryer, mosquito nets. Extremely romantic, the apartment enjoys a one master bedroom and one small bedroom, both with en-suite bathrooms, while the large living room is an open-space dining and relaxing area, with comfortable sofas. The kitchen is fully equipped and brand new.

Clean safe and with an iconic view. Only minor issue is the AC in the second room did not work and that room was not suitable for sleeping. It was running but not blowing cold air. We could not start the washing machine and messaged the host who did not provide a timely solution. It turns out the breaker had blown and after a few hours of troubleshooting we were able to figure it out. In fairness and after the fact there were instructions in the info binder about resetting the breaker so I assume this is not uncommon. Host perhaps should have known this? Read the binder. Lots of great local advice that we only noticed towards the end of our stay. Anyway - the view and location may be worth the minor issues.

Location AND comfort. You don’t have to settle with this apartment. The living space is fantastic with a front window with a 3rd story view of the Piazza della Signoria in the heart of the city of Florence. 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Showering is a bit snug, and using bathroom with tub required holding a wand to shower, however water was warm and good pressure. Kitchen well appointed, plenty of dishes, espresso machine, washing machine and dishwasher. Master bedroom very good size, no tv. Extra room with two twin beds was small and had a TV. Apartment was clean and had plenty of ambient light and airflow with the windows open. Elevator in the building was welcome, especially for luggage and groceries. Many options for lunch, dinner, gelato and coffee nearby. Good responsiveness from management company. Every attraction was within a short walk, especially the Uffizi, Duomo, and Ponte Vecchio. I would absolutely recommend and would stay here again if I was to return to Florence.
