Comfortable appartment but very noisy

The appartment was very good furnitured, it was spacious and it had everything you need inside. It was clean and well maintained. WIFI was good quality, no problem. It Was well situated, near by bus stations and shops.

It was very noisy and we could not sleep. The weather was very hot and we had to leave a window open, but people of the bar just opposite the appartment were talking loud all night. Also there is some kind of echo and you can hear every passing and talking person outside like they are inside the room. There is no air conditioning in the appartment and we had no option but to leave the window open, so it was a difficult week. Also- we asked for a company invoice when booking and even though we filled up the details of the company on booking.com, they isuued us and invoice to the personal name, not to the company. We asked many times to change the invoice because we also paid by company credit card, but they only answered that we should have asked this on a personal meassage one week prior to our stay. Never met a requirement like that so far, every other place issued us the invoice after we leave the place.

Functional and convenient in the heart of Interlaken

The apartment is actually closer to the Interlaken West Station (however, the host will provide guest cards that will cover transportation to Ost for the mountain excursions so free travel!!!) Luis was very helpful in WhatsApp and provided an instruction to obtain the key from the mailbox at the front of the complex. The apartment is in a secured and modern building, and the provided keys are useful for opening the front door of the building, the garbage disposal, and the apartment door. The apartment was truly functional in every sense. The kitchen was wonderful, with seasonings also stocked in the cupboard alongside every essential items for cooking and dining that you may need. A detailed folder contains all the instruction for cleaning and garbage disposal, so it was easy to maintain cleanliness in the apartment. The bathroom was clean and modern with functional ventilation. The dining/living room was spacious with ample space for luggage. Do note that there is no AC, but a fan is provided and opening the windows to air out the apartment works effectively to bring the crisp, cold air in. There are two beds, and 3 - 4 people can be easily accommodated. There is plenty of storage in the living room/dining room and the bedroom. You are also provided free wifi (also detailed in the folder). Best of all, the tap water from the kitchen was amazingly clean and delicious which eliminates the need to buy from the grocery store. The nearest grocery store (Migros) and the West Station is just a 7 - 8 minute walk which is very convenient. Checking out was very easy and it is self-service. I highly recommend Apartment Orya by Interhome for your Jungfrau vacation, as it is a good base for excursions. It is also more affordable than other hotels in the area especially during peak season, and the kitchen helps for budgeting as groceries are cheaper than eating out.

Excellent location. Train station, shops and restaurants are within reach. The place was very clean. The host was very helpful.

Quite noisy at night if you leave your window open. A thicker curtain in the bedroom would be advisable for added privacy.
