Das Apartment ist geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Es ist relativ geräumig, ordentlich und großteils sauber.

Die Klimaanlage funktionierte leider nicht bzw. nur sehr schwach. Das geht bei einer Außentemperatur von über 30°C und bei einer entsprechenden Zimmertemperatur gar nicht. In so einer Situation ist nur ein(!) zusätzlicher Ventilator für das ganze Apartment ein Witz. Dazu vergleichsweise eine Kleinigkeit: der Geschirrspüler war innen verdreckt. Der Gastgeber ist nicht vor Ort. Hier handelt es sich um eine Firma, die man mit viel Glück telefonisch kontaktieren kann, leider aber nicht immer. Die Kommunikation läuft (zeitverzögert) über WhatsApp. Fragen per Email im Vorfeld wurden nicht beantwortet. Zum Aufsperren der Türen bekommt man einen digitalen Schlüssel per Email zugesandt. Auch der Check-In wird digital durchgeführt. Das Ausfüllen des Check-In Bogens dauert sicherlich mehr als die angegebene Minute. Jemandem, der auf eine angenehme Raumtemperatur im Sommer und auf persönliche Betreuung Wert legt, ist dieses Apartment nicht zu empfehlen.

No ac

The apartment is in a great location, close to shops and restaurants. It is nicely renovated and spacious. The second bathroom is a bonus, and the property was very clean. The kitchen is well-equipped with glasses, crockery and cutlery, etc. and the dishwasher works well. The toaster and kettle worked well too.

* access is only via an electronic key, which didn’t work on my Apple phone. Fortunately, it worked on my sister’s android phone but we had to make sure it was always charged so we could get back into the apartment. At the end of a long day of sightseeing, this was a concern. * the air-conditioning did not work properly, which is terrible during summer. We had the AC on maximum for our 4 night stay, and the living room did not get below 26 degrees. The AC did not reach the bedrooms and they had no fan, so they were very hot during the night. We told our host about this problem and he just told us to run the AC day and night. * the main bathroom only has a bathtub, no shower. * the apartment was advertised with ironing facilities but the iron didn’t work and there was no ironing board. We asked for a replacement iron and it took 2 days to arrive after much insistence. * the washing machine is good but there is no drying rack to hang the clothes after washing.
