West Holme Glamping

The owners are extremely friendly and welcoming, which made our stay feel very comfortable from the start. Since it was our first camping experience, we had lots of questions, but they were always patient and happy to help, explaining how to use everything we weren’t familiar with. It felt cozy and safe, making our first time camping a memorable one. The owners made sure we had everything we needed and even checked in to see if we were comfortable. Because it was only our group staying at the time, the atmosphere was peaceful and relaxing, almost like having the whole place to ourselves. The combination of the warm hospitality and the well-arranged tent made this trip really special. I truly appreciate the owners for going above and beyond to make our first camping trip such a positive and enjoyable experience. We would love to come back again!

A nice glamping site with a lovely host. It is nice that there are only a few tents and it is not crowded with too many people. The location is really quiet and has a lovely garden centre coffee shop close by. Well equipped for BBQ and cooking. Kids loved the fairy lights at night. Will definitely go back for more than one night next time.

The glamping site  struck a good balance between my 16-year-old’s ambition to camp and my ambition to be relatively close to the South West Coast Path. The property is in a beautiful setting and our hosts were fantastic.

There was very little to criticise about the whole stay.

The owners were lovely, communication was great. The location was great although hard to find, we had to call them on arrival. Provided an awning to sit under. Provided a cool box and freezer packs. Provides a cooker and gas. Showers were okay but I caveat that with they kept going hot and cold, and they are outside (not in a building).

The bed was super uncomfortable, really hard springs digging into my body all night, waking me up. So I had terrible sleeps. No WiFi or phone signal so really hard to plan things. The toilets were tiny and the doors keep opening, some didn't lock. No place to change after a shower. No electric although the owners did offer us charging packs. I loved my stay and this place could be an amazing place with a few tweaks and by replacing all the old painful sprung mattresses with memory foam.
