Lovely location but filthy dilapidated building
The location was amazing, in the middle of everywhere we wanted to visit and a lovely rural location with friendly locals
The property was run down and filthy. We stayed in the property with two small children and felt uncomfortable letting them run around in there freely due to the filth everywhere. There was mould in the far end bathroom and bedroom The carpets and sofa was filthy full of dust and made us all feel ill. There was an awful smell from the kitchen which we could never discover what it was. Bedroom door had holes punched in it that someone had crudely repaired by shoving toilet roll in it. The front door had been kicked in at some point and wouldn’t stay shut the only way to keep it shut was to lock yourself in. Entered the kitchen which needed completely scrubbing before we could eat in there and the extractor fan was hanging down off the wall.

We were really looking forward to this holiday, shame as we had been before and loved it
Love the location which is why it was our third visit. Love the layout of the cottage and the bedrooms. Sitting and kitchen are ideal for our party size. Games room excellent.
Unfortunately the hot water system failed 1st thing Saturday morning and could not be repaired until after we were due to leave on Monday. In the end we had to leave on Sunday as we could not go another night without it. Far bathroom was moldy on the walls. Sofa could do with firming up. Bottom dishwasher tray that doesn't slide in still not fixed from last year. We messaged owner about having to leave early but do not appear to have had a reply back
