Salthouse Cottage in Ironbridge

This comfortable and well appointed cottage had everything we needed. It's just across the street from a market and a lovely park along the river, and an easy 10-minute walk to the iron bridge and many restaurants. Our host Bec left us a cake as a welcome gift. The beds were very comfortable. And there is a great cafe next door. I recommend the raspberry croissants! Free off-street parking was appreciated. Excellent communication and easy check in.

The cottage is right on the road so you hear some traffic. I am noise sensitive so I slept in the back bedroom, which was very quiet. The shower doesn't have much pressure. But these were small things compared to how nice the cottage is and what a great location it's in. I would stay here again.

Beautifully decorated cottage, conveniently located close to the centre of Ironbridge. Onsite parking for 2 cars with a well stocked coop just across the road. Very welcoming with thoughtful touches, a lovely cake and fresh milk in the fridge.

We stayed during a heatwave so had to leave the windows open all night, which proved to be quite noisy from passing traffic. The road outside was quite busy.

We were so happy we chose to stay here during our visit to Ironbridge, it exceeded our expectations. The house was very cozy and clean, beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. In addition, we loved the patio area and made good use of it in the mornings and evenings. The location was excellent, frankly could not have been better with a co-op literally a one minute walk away and the bridge and all the cafes in town a lovely ten minute walk away, yet it was very quiet and peaceful. Also appreciated the communication from the host and the little touches waiting for us in the house.

Cannot think of a single thing we didn’t like.

The position was perfect for our needs. easy to find, excellent parking for two cars for our family coming from different directions. Spotlessly clean well equipped & comfortable made our stay very enjoyable.

Nothing
