Beautiful, comfortable, relaxing

A gem of a place - thoughtfully designed and equipped, spotlessly clean, wonderfully comfortable and in a gorgeous location with a lovely terrace and gardens overlooking the river. Everything about our stay was effortless and of high quality - just what we needed.

Was bigger than the pictures made it look. Good outdoor space. Delightful welcome hamper.

Some areas in need of a touch up, mould on twin bedroom nets. The turning onto the road from the property was a little hairy. Could do with trimming some foliage to aid vision.

Excellent accommodation with private Ironbridge parking.

Very clean Good quality furniture, mattresses and fixtures. Kitchen was exceptionally well equipped. Those little extras all there- handwashes, washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets, antiseptic hand gel etc. Great access to private parking in Ironbridge.

Really minor - Dustpan and brush would be really useful to help with daily brush up on wood/tiled floors. We used the Vacuum cleaner once, the lingering smell was overpoweringly of wet dog - not very pleasant.

Very relaxing and comfortable property - we would love to return in the autumn.

It was extremely welcoming, relaxing, and comfortable. The terrace area was lovely and it was great to be able to just wander out, sit, eat, drink and watch the river wander by. Nice layout and very comfortable bed.

There was no towel in the kitchen and no noticeable back up toilet roll. The flush on the toilet was a little inconsistent. Otherwise, no complaints.

Only there 4 nights but we felt much calmer and relaxed and wished we could have stayed longer

Beautiful outdoor space with view of River Severn from lower garden. This was a fabulous relaxing space Very comfortable bed with good quality bedding. Bathroom lovely and kitchen had everything necessary for making your own meals. Near to many interesting places worth visiting. Lots of books which in non-Covid times would have been wonderful to browse through.

It is difficult to mention any major omissions. Due to an oversight we only had 3 mugs in an apartment for 4, but as there were only two of us it wasn't a problem. The road could be a bit noisy during the day but not in evening and at night. We live in a city so it was less of a problem for us than it might be gor others. We felt it was a fair trade off for being also by the Rriver!

Calm, welcoming and comfortable

A lovely welcome to a comfortable flat in a beautiful part of the world. It had everything we needed for a relaxing few days away.

It’s a small living area for 4 people but for a few days stay this really wasn’t an issue and the standard of the property, friendly welcome and comfort more than made up for it.

Home from home accommodation in lovely surroundings with perfect hosts.

Well appointed property with immediate access to lovely patio/garden area overlooking River Severn. Although this property is on a B road, it all faces towards the river and is actually quiet and secluded. Easy to sleep well in comfortable beds. A real home from home. The hosts are on site and very helpful.

There is nothing about the property that that we did not like. The only downside is that the heavy rain that we experienced whilst staying here meant we could not walk into Ironbridge along the river. The banks of the Severn here are quite steep and the soil becomes waterlogged and slippery. It is a short drive to Ironbridge but it just meant we could not walk in from the property.
