Great price and location

The property is great value for money and a very good size. Parking is right outside the door which was perfect. The kitchen is well equipped and warm.

The property is nearly perfect but lacks in a few areas. The shower doesn’t work and I had no back door key for the garden . I contacted the owners but had no response. There were cobwebs on the walls and marks on the coffee table when we arrived. One of the duvets was very lumpy, no dustpan and brush, so really difficult keep it tidy and lightbulbs needing to be replaced. These are all tiny issues, which could so easily be sorted.

Nice apartment in picturesque area of Ironbridge. Very spacious. All amenities we needed were on hand. Nice and cosy. Appreciated the tea, coffee, milk, sugar and flapjack on arrival.

A bit of a refurb is needed in some areas.

A good value weekend in a beautiful part of the country

The property is in a lovely area, picturesque views very close by. It was on the ground floor which is an advantage. The open plan layout was great although there could have been a bit of improvement on the garden area and the equipment in the kitchen could have been a little more generous. There was designated parking although the occupants of another apartment parked in our space when we went out. This could have been because they did not see the names in front of the space in the dark and we were able to park in their space so no harm done. Overall it was fairly good value for money

The only real problem was the road to and from the property is a bit tight and lots of sat nav errors and while I fully understand that there is nothing the owners can do to rectify this, it is worth noting for future occupants for information

Lovely 2 nights.

Location was really good if your driving. The apartment was lovely and clean. Plenty of storage, kitchen had everything you need. We loved the flapjacks :)

The travel cot we asked was left for us thank you however it had a musty smell to it when opened it up. It may not have been used for a while but could do with a clean. :)

Good but issues stated above would have improved our stay

The lounge and kitchen diner was spacious and well equipped The location was lovely very quiet and picturesque

The bedding smelt musty The mattresses need replacing they had lumps and bumps The bathroom sink drainage needs attention as it was slow to drain The bathroom door was very hard to shut The coffee jar was dirty and the granular were hard The garden area was full of weeds and no seating

A comfortable apartment. Great value.

The space was great. Perfect for what we needed. We loved having the doors open to the little patio - especially given the hot weather whilst we stayed. The lovely gesture to leave homemade flapjacks to welcome us.

Nothing that would stop me from rebooking but the sofas were a bit low and we couldn't get the oven to work. Also the oven mit and tea towel provided were dirty on arrival.

Poor quality of plumbing; causing sink to fail to drain. Shower is from tap fixings which give poor heat/cold control.

Bad sleep

Everything but the beds and noise when people walked in the apartment upstairs, uncomfortable mattress and short duvets

When people go on holidays, they want to have a good night sleep. Please, buy new mattresses and longer duvets. Also, please do something about sound insulation on the top floor we could hear everything and the flooring is very noisy

Can’t sleep in main bedroom of blakemore apartment due to noise from above.

Size and location

The noise coming from above the main bedroom was unbearable. Whoever was above us were walking around late into the night and again early in the morning and the sound of them walking around was incredibly loud. I’m not sure why it was so loud but clearly there needs to be some insulation or some sort of fix as it made sleeping impossible. I don’t blame the guests above, I don’t think they were stomping or jumping, just walking normally but there is obviously a structural problem with the property which creates unacceptable noise levels.

Bright flat in lovely town - very hilly !

Spacious and heating very good as we had one cold night ( May)

The duvet could have been bigger and the cover was dull. Shame the outside wasn't secure for our dog and the outside didn't have any furniture . A few potted plants would be good but otherwise all 👍

Convenient place to stay for a trip to Ironbridge.

Location convenient for Ironbridge attractions but very narrow roads to apartments.

Confusion over parking, e-mail gave an apartment number, lockbox had an apartment name. Poor shower, Very slippy bath.

Comfortable stay and we had everything we needed

Very spacious, nicely decorated, clean. Comfortable and good facilities.

Access to that part of town wasn’t easy - but that is beyond the control of the owners! When we stayed, we were on the ground floor and there was a family with a young child and dog in the apartment. This was quite noisy, with disturbances during the night (mostly due to the dog). Again, that is a little beyond the control of the owners, but it may have been better to have swapped us into each other’s apartments.

A lovely property in a perfect location for exploring Ironbridge. A shame about the beds.

Well kitted out and in brilliant location.

The mattresses on the beds are clearly past their best. Massive dips towards the middles and not very comfy. The duvets were too big for the duvet covers meaning they didn’t fit properly and were uncomfortable for both the adults and children. A lot of dusty cobwebs around the property.

The apartment was clean and bright. The minor issues mentioned could easily be rectified.

Bathroom door hinge loose door would not close. Limited hooks for outdoor clothes. No hanging provision in one bedroom. TV sound quality poor (requires sound bar) Outdoor bins poorly labelled. Couches uncomfortable. Kitchen layout could be better. Directions to walking to 'town' would help !

spacious property, nicely furnished, good access to the places we wanted to visit very happy indeed The property had every thing you would need. Loved the way the property was set out, carpet in the main areas, lovely and flooring in living area, easy clen.

shower was not easy to use, only 3 tea spoons in draw, living area was not properly cleaned, windows with smudges. It would be a nice idea to put a slim wardrobe hanger for clothes in the ist bedroom, as there was only one in the end bedroom. Easy fixes. No real issues

location was perfect for our needs, we had our daughter with us who suffers from Parkinsons so facilties including parking a few feet away, kitchen perfect for her diet requirements with a nice walk down into ironbridge through village very interesting streets able to park in feet of entrance

wouldnt say did'nt like, but the property not the easiest to locate, ok for me as i dont rely on modern car technology so put my past scout days to test so some fun before arrival but as mentioned village location worth the effort

Good base for exploring Ironbridge.

Modern, well equipped and ideal location.

1. No signage. Only pulled into the parking area to allow a car to pass. Pure fluke turned out to be HB car park. Had to ask a local where apartment was. Why not add the ‘Crown Inn’ to site details or put up road side signs for Hodge Bower? 2. Key safe details for some reason were removed from Booking.com app, by Booking.com, hence call to owners on arrival. Why? 3. No bins in bedrooms 4. Bedding poorer quality in small bedroom.

Ironbridge is a lovely area but I would not stay here again

Minimal toilet paper! About 6 sheets for 2 adults for 3 nights. No spare. That was after I had checked these items were provided Minimal toiletries one miniature set between the two of us. Not even enough shampoo for one hair wash if you have thick hair The hand wash had about a quarter of an inch left in the bottle The bath had pubic hair in it there was no cleaning material apart from washing up liquid There was a toy down the sofa and lots of crumbs obviously had not been cleaned The flat above has a very creaky and noisy floor the occupants on the first night were like a heard of elephants you need to take ear plugs I was woken on all three morning by noise as the occupants were awake around 5 am walking around eventually going out before 8 am The roads up to the accommodation are very steep and you need to be careful as Satnav can take you up a very steep single track road!

Great modern apartment on a quiet road close to the local attractions / amenities.

Great modern apartment, excellent facilities and very clean. There was also a welcome plate of freshly-baked flapjacks waiting for us upon arrival. Very close to cafes, museums and other local attractions.

The "road" to get up to the apartment was a steep, windy single-track affair. I think it would have been helpful to get a heads-up about that. I thought my satnav was misbehaving lol. Also, it wasn't immediately obvious which lockbox and parking space to use. After a long day of driving, I was pretty tired, and it took me a couple of minutes to realise that the name I was looking for was "Blakemore". A small tweak to the welcome message would solve that though.

Loved the stay. A couple of nice to haves to make it perfect would be a little milk for a cuppa on arrival, a garden gate to stop the pooch escaping and a table n chairs to sit outside n enjoy the evening weather 😀
