The kitchen has an oven. We didn’t use it because on the description it said “stove top”- we ate out. Please update the description! The kitchen is bigger than mine at home. Great to have a lounge Ensuite to one and then one bathroom for three was great- plus a downstairs loo!!
It is very creaky so when someone got up for a wee on the middle floor it woke us up on the top floor.. It’s an old house so to be expected.

James is a great host. The property is in a wonderful location and is really good value for money considering it can sleep up to 8 people. This was our third family stay here.
Only a minor point but mattress on the king bed may need replacing soon or the addition of a thick mattress topper as we could feel the springs.

The house was great in terms of location, size and amenities, the host was very responsive and helpful
In all honesty it felt a bit ‘grubby’ and would benefit from a deep clean , there was some crockery and cutlery in cupboard that were dirty as in food stains, the sofa in the lounge has lots of stains and one of the kitchen chairs had springs falling out the bottom, two of the bedrooms on the second floor had lots of ladybirds in the room and on the bedding, it was also odd that we weren’t able to control the heating as it was remotely managed and on a timer( although just was very responsive to turn up the heat when we asked)
We had an unfortunate instance that the oven glass safety door exploded whilst we were using it and glass flew all throughout the kitchen, appreciate this is out of the control of the host
A shame about all this as the house is perfect in terms of its size and location but not sure worth the £255 a night advertised ( albeit I paid less than this)

Location was great and the house was exactly what we needed for the reason for the stay. Great to have private parking. And most things needed for the kitchen were available. Lovely outdoor space to make the most of the sun.
The main bed mattress was very uncomfortable. The house in general in need of some cobweb and carpet cleaning. Whilst we adhered to the ask of taking shoes off it is clear that previous guests haven't.
