The house was great in terms of location, size and amenities, the host was very responsive and helpful
In all honesty it felt a bit ‘grubby’ and would benefit from a deep clean , there was some crockery and cutlery in cupboard that were dirty as in food stains, the sofa in the lounge has lots of stains and one of the kitchen chairs had springs falling out the bottom, two of the bedrooms on the second floor had lots of ladybirds in the room and on the bedding, it was also odd that we weren’t able to control the heating as it was remotely managed and on a timer( although just was very responsive to turn up the heat when we asked)
We had an unfortunate instance that the oven glass safety door exploded whilst we were using it and glass flew all throughout the kitchen, appreciate this is out of the control of the host
A shame about all this as the house is perfect in terms of its size and location but not sure worth the £255 a night advertised ( albeit I paid less than this)

Very close to co-op store and short walk to pubs and restaurants and visitor attractions
Decor was a bit dated in places and would benefit a freshen up. Doors were very creaky !

Great location, lovely for two families plus dogs. Well equipped kitchen and decent lounge.
Beds weren’t very comfortable and bedrooms were too bright (thin blinds and no curtains) and too hot.

Great bedrooms. Plenty of comfy seating. Perfect location. Loved the new mirrors.
Looking worn out , mattress on the super king size bed springs have gone make that bed uncomfortable but all other beds are super comfy.

The house was amazing and we were grateful for the quiet place to stay while working on a charity stand at a conference. Lots of hot water available for multiple showers thankfully. Malbec the magnificent Maine Coon really enjoyed his time in the house as well - especially with 2 flights of stairs to run up and down! I had to order some extra stock for our trade stand and then once I got home, I forgot to change the address back to my own house and accidentally had a delivery to the house in Ironbridge and was able to get a friend to pick up the package from the home owners - THANK YOU!
Nothing could have been better.

Brilliant location, property well stocked and generally clean and comfortable, good parking and lovely, quiet area.
Found out of date food in the Fridge, TV in one bedroom had no aerial connection so didn't work. Would have preferred locks on bathroom doors.

House has plenty rooms and space for the size of our family for the 1 night we stayed. Close to iron Bridge itself and easy to walk there and enjoy the shops and restaurants. There is also a Co-op opposite the house and then behind that is an amazing Antique place. We had a lovely stay.
Think the chairs in the kitchen are a bit too big as hard to walk round the kitchen when people are there. Also the shower heads could do with being replaced.

It was fantastic, we were staying before my now husband and i’s wedding with my maid of honour, his best man and our flower girl! It fit all of us in with ease, and made for a beautiful place to get ready in!
Some minor bits of untidy (found vitamins/tablets that had been dropped under the counter luckily before the little one did) and a dirty pan had been put in with the clean ones but obviously that’s not the fault of the owners! We had an amazing time

Great location and really good value for money. Perfect for a family break.

Great location, large property with good amenities. Lots of character, good for larger families
The garden space could be beautiful with a little added pots and plants.

Location was spot on. The house was very large with everything you could possibly need. Loads of toilet rolls, clean towels and even games for the kids.
The main downsides were that it is in desperate need of a deep clean. It was dusty, had cobwebs in lots of places, paintwork was dirty in all rooms, carpets were black around the edges and need a really good clean. The mattresses need changing on all but one single bed, they were thin and not comfortable. The TVs need upgrading to smart TVs so that you can connect to Netflix etc.

Location was great and the house was exactly what we needed for the reason for the stay. Great to have private parking. And most things needed for the kitchen were available. Lovely outdoor space to make the most of the sun.
The main bed mattress was very uncomfortable. The house in general in need of some cobweb and carpet cleaning. Whilst we adhered to the ask of taking shoes off it is clear that previous guests haven't.

A nice house close to Ironbridge. We liked the location, very close to where we needed to be as we were attending a ball locally. Facilities were good, 2 bathrooms and a separate downstairs loo, 4 nice bedrooms and a well appointed kitchen and lounge. Parking was fine with 2 spaces allocated.
There weren't many mirrors which made getting ready for an event a bit tricky! We also would have liked to go into the yard from the house but the door was locked. The only other thing that was frustrating was the thin curtains meant being woken early by sunlight!

This place is well positioned for all of the amenities in Ironbridge. The property has 2 allocated parking spaces in the adjacent courtyard . There is also a pay and display carpark directly opposite, operated by 'MIPERMIT'. Parking is chargeable between 10am and 5 pm, £6 per day, at time of writing. There is also a CO-OP across the road, and pubs/restaurants a short walk away.
The living spaces are generously proportioned, and the beds were comfortable, if a bit soft - our party used all of the available beds during our stay and there were no complaints. The garden was a generous space with a small BBQ and nice table and chairs.
As there is no separate dining area, the kitchen suffers from the placement of a rather large 8-seater table in the middle of it. This leaves little space to navigate around the kitchen, particularly in the morning when most of the house occupants were trying to make drinks, and cater for their individual breakfasts. Perhaps an extendable table would suit better.
Although the kitchen had ample pots and pans, we noted that crockery was a little minimalist, and consisted of several different sets with only 8 of each, so no spare to use as serving plates/bowls etc. The bendy utility cutlery was also a shame.
Our overall impressions; we all felt that the decor was a little tired-looking. The fabric 'chesterfield' style sofa was rather stained, and could have done with a shampoo. Many of the carpets were stained and the stair carpet was threadbare in places. The main bathroom badly needed repainting due to the shower leaking over the bath consistently - the fixed shower screen didn't seem long enough to prevent leakage no matter how carefully you took a shower, and there were cobwebs and very dusty skirting boards - an easy fix.

The house was lovely and a great location, quite a surprise to be literally in the Iron Gorge!!

Perfect location for family get together. Ideal property, spacious, plenty of seating, crockery etc & quiet (important as had a baby with us) Beds super comfy.
Shop across road for essentials, plenty of food venues within 5min walk & mix of quiet & more lively pubs / cafes.
Allocated Parking spaces (x2) little snug - but that’s being super picky as both family vehicles are larger hatches - however ample parking over road if needed

Fantastic central location within walking distance to lots of attractions and very close to shops; Great to have 2 car parking spaces; Good size accommodation great for meeting up with family. The cooker was good and there was a nice big dining table in the kitchen which was great for family meals and board games. The upstairs master bedroom was absolutely enormous with a very good size bathroom. TV in every room, though we didn't use them!
This is the sort of thing we would write as private feedback to the host on AirBnB, and not for publication as can be easily remedied: The dish washer was on the blink and cut out minutes after turning it on in the evening. This might explain why a lot of the crockery was not properly clean when we first took it out of the cupboards. Some of the crockery was worn or chipped; There was no plug in the kitchen sink and no washing up bowl, so all non dishwasher items had to be washed under running water; only one tea towel provided; The showers were OK but not brilliant; Some of the walls could do with a lick of paint and the bathroom floors had dust in corners.

Lovely and private, neatly tucked out the way. Close to local shop (across the road). Easy accessible.
Beds were comfortable, decor was lovely and felt very homely.
The welcome booklet was a nice touch; helpful. The family games were a nice added thought too, (worth mentioning) except 'Operation' and the 'Jungle heads & tails' were missing parts.
Shame that practically every kitchen item needed re-washing before using. The shower heads could do with a run-through as not all spouts let water out, and the carpets, under sofas and beds, didn't look like they had seen a hoover.

Spacious and well laid out property. Near all the amenities and sights in Ironbridge. House had everything we needed. Great value for money. We had a lovely time.
Just be wary of the slippy floors. 2 people slipped after stepping off the stairs (in the hall)

Location is within easy distance of Telford, lots of room.
Some of the décor is very tired, broken utensil items in the kitchen need replacing, very noisy road even later at night or early hours, being ear plugs!

Location, cleanliness, welcome pack.
Some basic cleaning essentials such as kitchen spray and bathroom cleaner would have been useful as would oven gloves. There was no key to the patio doors and bolts were stiff. Some of the crockery/ cutlery needed washing before we could use it.
Not the fault of the owner but one of the main roads out of Ironbridge was closed and this closure was not picked up by Satnav : maybe a little advance warning on the welcome emails would have been helpful

I've just had a 2 night stay at the forgemaster house and I can honestly say it was brilliant on arrival we found welcome gifts 🎁 in the kitchen the place was nice clean and may I say warm as the weather as been so cold out the beds were spotless and so comfy. I had two great nights sleep and just felt so at home 2 nights wasn't enough and I will definitely be rebooking a visit here in the summer and would highly recommend this accommodation for anyone thank u for having us x

Only one blanket for double bed (for two old men), problems with heating regulation in some rooms.

House was clean and comfortable. There was plenty of kitchen equipment and was nice to have a couple of parking spaces. Owner left a lovely cake, bottle of wine, milk, eggs and bread which were a nice touch. Other basics such as tea, coffee, sugar, cooking oil etc were all also available for our use. The beds were all very comfortable.
The smoke detector in the hall randomly went off at 2 am and again at 3 am which wasn't pleasant! The cooker hood extraction didn't work and neither did the wall extractor in the kitchen, these need repairing/rectifying.

The size of the property and how beautifully set out it was, we were staying for an event at the Telford international centre which is only 10 minutes drive away, and there is a shop just across the road which is very convenient! The hosts were also nice enough to leave a welcoming cake which was lovely!
Absolutely nothing! The property was amazing!
