Excellently located in the heart of the village, within walking distance of several pubs, cafes and a handy supermarket, not to mention many of the Ironbridge historic sites. Spacious kitchen which had absolutely everything you’d need for a short or long stay, and a very generous welcome pack of goodies! Comfortable beds, good showers and lots of seating inside and outside in the courtyard. Ample parking for several cars. We loved it!

Excellent stay at Dale Cottage. A home from home.

We really appreciated… the lovely bedrooms, great layout for family with teenagers, kitchen with everything we needed including a Nespresso machine, fully enclosed courtyard was great for our small dog, ample private parking, great location, quiet area, sitting with the Bi fold doors open during the lovely weather, nice welcome pack, plenty of storage spaces, quality fans during hot weather.

Hard to pick negative things, but only that we’d prefer larger dinner plates, as the ones provided were small. Bathrooms could also benefit from updating generally, including adding mixer taps and a shower screen instead of curtain, in the main bathroom. These didn’t affect our experience overall, though.

Spacious and comfy, all we needed.

Location was good on the west side of town within a mile of 4 of the museums and the COOP. Cottage was fitted out with all the equipment we needed or wanted for our stay. Parking was a bonus as well.

Perfect Ironbridge cottage

Lovely cottage. Very well equipped. Lots of car parking. Walking distance to both Ironbridge and the Coal Brookdale museums. Both the kids and the grandparents were very happy which says a lot. Coop supermarket less than 2 mins walk and a playground. Lovely courtyard area.

Lovely property in Ironbridge

We enjoyed our stay at Dale Cottage. The property was spotlessly clean, spacious, and had ample parking. It is in an ideal location for Ironbridge. When we arrived, there was a generous welcome hamper. A minor issue was resolved promptly, and we found the staff to be friendly and professional. We would highly recommend this property and would have no hesitation in staying there again.

Great spacious place in a wonderful location - needs attention in some areas

The stay we had in Dale Cottage was wonderful despite the few issues with cleanliness. It’s in a lovely quiet and peaceful location, spacious and being a short walk to shops, pubs and River Severn was a bonus. The little goody basket was much appreciated, and generally the whole place was well stocked with useful items. Thank you.

The initial appearance was marred due to the entrance door losing a fair bit of paint, wobbly in its brickwork and has already lost its letterbox cover which is a shame. The active wasps on the patio (close to where we were able to sit) was disturbing, a grubby shower curtain in bathroom that could have done with a good wash and generally tired bathrooms all round (i.e., a good plunge was also needed in showroom). The numerous dead flies on various windowsills coupled with plentiful (2 drawerfuls) of clothes left by previous occupier have downgraded it a little for us. It’s a shame for the sake of attention to detail on the cleaning and maintenance could have made a perfect stay for us.

Spacious accommodation for friends/ family to stay

The cottage was well equipped and in a great location. The welcome pack was a lovely surprise. Plenty of parking as we had 3 cars between us. Beds were comfy and everywhere was clean.

Excellent location for exploring the area, fabulous welcome pack, well placed for cafes, bars, etc.

The bathroom and shower room are probably a little past their best and could do with a refurb.
