Hodge Bower Holidays, Ironbridge - Blades

Perfect for what we needed, if any bodybuilders are taking part in a competitions this place is a great location and has all the facilities you need.

The was no iron, or at least I couldn’t find it! I found the box and board

Great location for a short stroll into Ironbridge. Nice flapjacks left, also included washing up amenities and tea/coffee supplies.

As other reviews have mentioned the property is need of some easy repairs such as wobbly coffee tables, loose dining chairs, stained carpet, lack of blinds in bathroom and landing, stains on bedding and towels, and holes in walls to be filled. The beds were extremely hard and uncomfortable, as were the sofas. The car park spot for blades was very narrow and on an angle but was possible to park safely proving car spot next to it left plenty of space.

It was clean and tidy, organisation was amazing and whilst there was a tiny issue with a key, It was rapidly dealt with in less than 5 minutes

If I’m being hyper critical as this was a minor inconvenience, and by no means would it stop me wanting to come back, there needs to be a plug socket either side of the beds for phone charging as we use our phones to check time in the morning. Even if it’s just a extension lead under the bed it would have taken this small pressure away from waking others in the room

Good access and parking

Very basic, no home comforts and very uncomfortable sofas - carpets stained in hallway, slight stale smell to the rooms!
