Lovely house in a great location. Short walk to Ironbridge and lots of nice walks around.
Minor issues: Disappointed that we received no reply from the owners when we asked about coffee pods and dishwasher tablets. Neither of these were provided despite the ‘manual’ stating both should be available.
Difficult to regulate temperature in front en suite shower and toilet flush v poor in back bedroom bathroom.

Beautifully restored cottage with everything you need for a relaxing and comfortable stay. Comfy and cosy and spotlessly clean. Beautiful accommodation - 2
double bedrooms each with en-suite and 3rd toilet downstairs plus handy boot room and ample free parking out front. Easy walk into town.

Penny Black cottage is a beautiful place to stay in a lovely location, only being a 10/15 minute walk into Ironbridge, it’s cosy, yet plenty of space with 2 large bedrooms both with en-suites.
Communication with host was great & easy to check in, parking outside the cottage too on the road made easy for unloading. Would highly recommend.
Just a couple of minor things & hence why not a 10 score, there were no coffee pods for the machine provided, only a few teabags/sugar for a 2night stay, & the dishwasher hadn’t been emptied, these were just small things that could have made it better for us.

Penny Black Cottage has been renovated to a very high standard. It was comfortable and clean.
We needed to get in contact with the owner and she responded immediately.
Fabulous location. Would certainly stay there again.
The bed was a little too firm for me.
Bigger bath towels.
The outside area is an added benefit, it could do with a freshen up. Having said that it wasn't the weather for us to sit outside.
