There was secure off-street parking, behind gates. We were less than 5 mins in the car from a Coop and one end of the Ironbridge. It was easy to get to other NTS properties, or otherwise into the countryside, if the UNESCO stuff was closed. We were delighted with 2 ensuite rooms, plus a toilet/cloakroom. We could hear birdsong all around us. No10 at the Hart was a super bistro/bar. And not too expensive. Great bar guy.
The decor is dated but most of the fittings are really solid and work well. It is adjacent to a main road, but it's not busy. The heating is great. There's not much not to like!

Very well fitted out and designed lodge. Good ambience and liked the jacuzzi bath.
The mattresses are a bit too springy and soft for us. Otherwise all was very good.

The lodge was spacious, cozy and clean in a great setting not too far out from Ironbridge and its attractions. We loved the decor which gave the place a comfortable atmosphere. Two spa baths and en suits. Loved being on the grounds and having a large field at our disposal for the dog to have a quick evening stroll.
The beds were a little on the hard side.
