Marnwood Lodge

A characterful property, something different. Convenient location. Both bedrooms have their own ensuite and there was everything we needed for our one night stay.Communication from owners was very friendly and helpful. It is evident that they care about their guests.

Although the jacuzzi baths were a luxury attractiion, some guests would struggle to get in and out of them. Maybe keep one of the deep baths , but consider a separate walk -in shower for the other room? The living area was split level , with two steps but there was a small sturdy handrail on the wall which was useful.

The lodge was perfect for us. After a long drive it was lovely to find such a pretty location and property. The instructions from the host were very clear. There is a hanging chair that my daughters loved and the property is very cosy. The bedrooms have great ensuites and the beds are very comfy. We stayed in lots of places over the last two weeks and my daughters said this was their favourite. We also had a dog and he loved the area behind the lodge. Not far is a pub where we had dinner and further down is the main street of Ironbridge so you can get provisions easily.

Great location with amazing plant life nearby. Super quiet. Plenty of amenities, good size oven and microwave, lovely cool fridge and great freezer. Good amount of chairs and egg chair was fun! Three toilets! Super easy to use EV charger.

No complaints at all!
