Gorgeview Cottage

Great location for exploring the area. 5 minute walk to shops, cafes and nice to sit out on the back area and enjoy the view.

Beautifully decorated cottage with stunning views over Ironbridge gorge. Perfect for active people as lots of interesting walks direct from the door.

No designated parking space. The 8 spaces recommended were down a hill over the main road and are first come first served. You can drop off outside the cottage but very narrow road. Narrow stairs in the house are difficult to negotiate with luggage!

The cottage was in a good location with only a short walk into Ironbridge. There was a great view from the garden, it was quiet and relaxed.

It was clean and modern with traditional, cosy cottage features.

The shower was excellent.. Couldn't fault that.

Unfortunately we felt the back yard wasn't safe enough for children. The steps down with decking are uneven to walk on. As if new decking was put on old without replacing. Weeds growing and fence where drop is isn't high enough. Kids couldn't go outside and the kids bedroom window locks didn't work. Has safety latch. But window dosnet shut properly. So felt uneasy with kids upstairs too. I would personally sort these problems out before letting children in the property. Okay for adults. Tv middle remote buttons fell out straight away and lock fell off on bathroom door upstairs. These are easy fixes. Which should of been done beforehand. Need couple days repair work and it'll be good to go.
