Our third stay here certainly didn't disappoint!

This is the third time we have stayed in Jackfield Mill, and we were very happy with the property again. The host's communication and welcome gifts were exceptional. The property itself has everything you need for a comfortable stay, and the location is fabulous, with some great pubs nearby.

great location for us by Maws Craft Centre and close to all the Iron Bridge Gorge Museums where we were taking some of our grandchildren. They liked it as well.

This is a lovely apartment in a great location right next door to the craft centre. It was well equipped with everything we needed for a good stay.

location was good .... well positioned to make the most of our intended visit to Ironbridge Gorge

A welcome pack of some sort would have been nice as after a very long drive we had to immediately go out shopping for essentials. Toilet flush needs attention

Great property and owner in historic Ironbridge Gorge

The genuine character of the property is lovely and the historic location is great. It has a very comfortable lounge area and is quiet. The kitchen is very well equipped and there are three bedrooms to suit everyone. Local people are very friendly and the communication from the owner is excellent. Good pubs in walking distance and perfect for cyclists as well. Small outside courtyard is a bonus.

We liked everything - there are stairs and steps inside and outside the property so check if these may be an issue for you.

Excellent

The location was beautiful, and perfect for walking to the river, local pubs, the Victorian Town and other Ironbridge museums. The property is very quirky and characterful ( in an old Mill ) and it was very spacious. We were there in the heatwave and the thick walls kept everything nice and cool. The property was very well equipped. Parking was allocated very close by, with clear directions to the property sent ahead by Ceri, who was most helpful. We thought it was a very good price too.

A great family break!

Great location, by the artist shops and cafe, walking distance to lovely pubs, and access to the silken way for walks, and only 25 min walk to bliss hill museum, which was a great visit for the kids. Fully stocked kitchen, and powerful shower.

We loved it.

Very homely, a quirky conversion over 3 floors which was great to explore. Some of it was a bit worn, my son complained he couldn't lock the bathroom door, but it was all in keeping with an old building. Ceri was great, let us know we could have an extra hour on our last morning and then gave us tourist tips for Bridgnorth.

Bathroom door lock, and the clock in the lounge needs a battery as it took me a while before I stopped looking at it and being confused!

Historic, beautiful, quiet location with nice local pubs and scenery with a friendly helpful host x

Location was good for walking and visiting pubs :) - Apartment was very clean and it was easy to find and get the keys. Host was very friendly and easy to contact. Easy to get to the Telford International centre didn't do any sightseeing so cant really comment. Lots of towels and kitchen was well equipped, even had tablets for the dishwasher (I've found this to be is rare in rentals). Nice information booklet.

We had a plug socket not working in a bedroom though it wasn't an issue and the outside lights didn't work, which was a slight issue for the one smoker in the party. Coffee pods would have been a nice touch for the coffee machine. Not really much to do socially in the direct surroundings, apart from a few pubs, there we no local shops or restaurants, so on the first night we didn't eat as by the time we got there the pubs had stopped serving food. Phone signal poor (The majority of these points are for information only as out of the hosts hands)

Relaxing short break

Fabulous few nights away for the whole family. Lovely apartment, in walking distance of many country pubs and local attractions. Comfy beds and seating area and a we'll equipped kitchen. The communication with the host was great and made the place easy to find.

Nothing really. One small suggestion- it would have been useful to have had instructions for how to use the kitchen appliances,/, programmes, although we worked them all out eventually 😊

We'd definitely stay again if we are in the area.

The location was brilliant, the instructions on how to get there and get in were spot on. It's a quiet area, parking no problem (even for 4 motorbikes). Fully fitted kitchen, huge fridge with ice maker, dishwasher, washing up liquid and tabs provided, TV with internet access. Piping hot water all the time.

The bathroom ceiling is a bit low, especially in the shower. And no bathroom window, the extraction fan is about as useful as an ashtray on a motorbike. Seems to be the norm in the UK though, massive effort in getting everything else right, but the bathroom is just a functional room, like an after-thought.

Beautiful location in an old mill near the river Severn. Lots of pubs very close by and lovely walks. Coalport is a very short walk away and also the Tile Museum.

Perhaps there could be some outside furniture in the courtyard?

Great place to stay if you want a quiet area within a few minutes drive of Ironbridge

Lovely location next to a craft centre. A lovely, clean, comfortable place to stay close to the Tile and China museums. Plenty of space for 4 adults and a child. There were lovely walks from the apartment, over the footbridge next to the Boat Inn, to the canal, Tar tunnel and China Museum.

One of the mattresses was not the most comfortable and a desk/workspace or dressing table would be helpful. However the host took on the feedback & overall value was superb.

The apartment was very comfortable, in good condition and well located.

Not really a dislike, just an observation that it's not ideal for the front door to open directly on a bedroom, but once we figured out the use of the yale keys it was fine.

Good

Lovely location with things to do nearby. Well equipped and full of character. We got used to the quirks like hot water from the cold bath tap and turning one basin tap on in the opposite direction to the other. Nice little courtyard gave it a private feel.

Husband could feel the springs in the upstairs bed so not comfortable for him. Space round the beds tight and only a bedside table and light on one side. The blind did not cover the whole of the window so woken by the daylight through the curtains very early. No blind across the glass bricks between downstairs double and lounge so light shone through from lounge windows in the morning and TV in the evening.
