The service and hosts were quick and easy to respond to. The entrance to the second bedroom was a private entrance making it easier to go in and out of the house as needed. The property was clean and accessible.

Small issues like the host forgetting to put out a hand towel in the bathroom for drying your hands. Super minor stuff like that.

It’s a really beautiful house. Though we were housed at the basement (no elevator, of course) it was very spacious and clean. They have laundry room, small kitchen, fridge, big bathroom. Beds were very comfortable. There’s 4 bedrooms at the basement but during our stay there only 2 rooms occupied.

You have to climb down and up the stairs to the basement.

A lot of effort has been put into the house itself. High quality finishes. The owners are very friendly. The beds are very, very comfortable. Location is pretty great, only a 10 minute walk from the SkyTrain station.

No information on check in or check out procedure. Just showed up and rang the doorbell. Provided no confirmation but was shown to a room. That was fine because we booked it, but how did they know who we were? The bathroom was nicely renovated, but the detail shown in cleaning was poor. Behind the sink was stained and dirty. Either the tile grout needs to be cleaned properly and then sealed. Same with the nice big walk in shower.... Great thing to have but looks bad like it's not cared for. For the price to rent a bedroom with bathroom, only a little cheaper than a hotel....
