I has to wait about 40 minutes for the shuttle. I tried to call the hotel several times but the phone went unanswered. My wake-up call was 10 munutes delayed. Otherwise all was okay.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS. This was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had, and we ended up leaving the same night. When we arrived, the door to our assigned room was already open and unlocked, with the bathroom fan running—clearly, someone had been in there just before us. The room reeked of cigarette smoke, and the smell wasn’t just faint; it was deeply ingrained in the curtains and coming directly from the air conditioning unit. The bathroom was in shocking condition, with visible holes in the ceiling above the shower that had been crudely patched, as if the room was mid-renovation. Everything about the space felt unsanitary and unsafe. We immediately decided we couldn’t stay and booked another hotel that same night. Afterward, I checked more recent reviews and saw a pattern of similar complaints about cleanliness and maintenance. I wish I had looked closer before booking, as the newer reviews tell the full story. I strongly urge anyone considering this property to check the most recent feedback before making a reservation. Between the cigarette stench, the unsafe and unfinished room, and the fact that it was already open when we arrived, this property clearly has major issues with both sanitation and guest safety. I will be requesting a refund directly through Hotels.com.

Check in staff were efficient. There’s a snack shop a short walk away which is convenient. White Spot also very convenient attached to the hotel. Room was clean, the ac was sufficient, not too cold. The toilet in my room runs which caused the toilet to semi flush often. It wasn’t super disturbing to me but could be for someone else.

Good shuttle service, adequate hotel for a night. I'm just not enthusiastic when paying $300 a night for "adequate", but that seems to be the market in Vancouver for a room. It just means less enthusiasm to book another visit to Vancouver. As an aside, for $300, you would think the hotel would have either powdered cow or a couple of UHT real cream servings (in the bar fridge) for the coffee maker in the room. I mean, jeez.

We waited 1and half hours for shuttle. Absolutely ridiculous. Shuttles from other hotels went by 5 times before this one came. One of the other drivers became concerned that we were still there and made a call for us.

The hotel is fine. The guys smoking up on the balcony at the end of my hall - a few feet from my door - were not so welcome, but I'm not sure that's the hotel's fault. The room was clean. The shuttle to the airport weas convenient, but the driver was a bit grumpy. I lost a hat here on my last stay and the guy at the desk said he would look in lost and found - but didn't.

While the hotel appears to be a bit dated, and was awkward to get to, we liked that it was close to the airport. The room & bathroom were clean. The White Spot restaurant on site was quite basic so would look elsewhere to eat if we can. Staff at the hotel & Restaurant were very polite.

The shuttle is not 24/7 anymore and cannot fit more than 9 people (if that because they run out of luggage room). The only redeeming part was the first shuttle left 15 min early, so we didn’t have to wait until the half hour for it to run again. The front desk worker Naton was lackadaisical and had terrible customer service.

I didn’t get to stay at the hotel. I called the front desk around 1:30pm to provide what once, was ample notice, in the industry, that I wouldn’t be able to use the room. I was told there was NO REFUNDS b/c I stupidly prepaid in full. Not even a credit for a future one night’s stay was offered? All I can assume by this is you must be a struggling property in order to justify your willingness to tell yourself it’s cool to accept $400 when you provided a customer with NOTHING & you weren’t inconvenienced, unless you’ve finally run out of customers? I hope you rented out the room to someone else so you could REALLY feel good about getting one over on a customer. Did you have a lol? You’re certainly NOT the BEST Western.

This was just a quick overnight stay before we went on a cruise. Our luggage was lost on the flight and the staff was helpful and supportive of our needs. Not a fancy hotel but reasonable, clean, and in good proximity to airport and pier. All the services we needed were there; airport shuttle, restaurant/bar, assistance with transport to pier.

My booking was on a plan with shuttle and breakfast but I was told I have to buy the breakfast Secondly I paid for a security deposit of $50 through Visa card which has been refunded yet Thirdly paid for my own taxi because the shuttle driver said they don’t go to the South terminal.

The toilet seat was so worn out the plastic coating was peeling off. It was disgusting, like a layer of skin was peeling off. The shower head leaked. The hotel room was fully carpeted and hadn’t been cleaned for a long time. No screens in the windows the list goes on.
