This is a convenient and economical place to stay for a quick visit.

It was a great location, close to the skytrain airport. My bedroom and bathroom were very clean and it was great to have coffee provided in my room. The house was quiet and in a safe neighborhood. The host is very friendly.

The kitchen and downstairs living area reflected a busy family home and I didn’t feel comfortable accessing those rooms. Also there was a cat and some smells associated with that.

Would 100% stay there again

Clean, cosy room and bathroom, comfy bed, nice bed linen and towels, lots of complementary cosmetics and drink options. Desk in the room. Good location for public transit (10 min walk to skytrain, 5 to bus). Quiet street, very pleasant location.

Owners expect guests to take off shoes at entry. No lift (second floor room). Wasn't able to make ac work. There's a cat, and a tiny bit of cat smell coming from outside the room, but my alergies did not flare up, so the cleaning must be good.

Excellent

Excellent! The host Helen is very friendly and flexible ,allow me to check in early even though I put the time is after 3pm. The location is nearby the skytrain station with supermarket and restaurants. The room is on second floor very clean with mobile air-conditioner. She provide extra effort to offer me umbrella in rainy day though I have one. The main floor sitting room is a bit crowded with items but I have no concern. Overall I highly recommended this for solo traveller.

My stay at Helen's place was comfortable and convenient.

My room and bathroom were very clean and the bed was super comfortable. Helen has thought of everything that a traveller might need for a night. I was also pleased to find a wonderful running/walking path around the Langara golf course very close to the house.

The room was comfortable and had everything you needed for your stay. The house was located close to the sky train to take you into the city or the airport. It was in a nice quiet location in a nice area of Vancouver.

I didn't realise when I booked that the room is located upstairs with 3 other people living in the house, right next to the room. I thought the room would be separate to the house. One of the people was on their phone speaking loudly until 1am so I couldn't get a good night's sleep. I thought this was a bit inconsiderate knowing that there are guests staying in the next room. There were very few options for restaurants/cafes nearby.

Pleasant place to stay

A variety of basic cooking facilities with most utensils supplied, coffee maker, some condiments etc, meant we could make a meal and have a decent breakfast etc. Washing machine & dryer. Less than a 10min walk to skybus and shops (supermarket, restaurants, picture theatre, drug store etc) Area felt really safe. Nice sunny back porch to have dinner on the steps.

Friendly family home in a decent location

Very friendly family home. The Room has a private bathroom only accesible from the room itself. Additionally the room had a desk, wall closet/ small storage room, water boiler and -filter, an AC and a TV with Google Chromecast. They offered me to use a seperate (from their own) Refrigerator. The location was decent due to being an 8 minute walk away from 'Marine Drive' Station.

Good connection with both the city and the airport. Independence.

There is a cat in the house (not mentioned in the description) and the house has carpet (even though in the house´s description it says hardwood floor), so for me it was very uncomfortable (as I´m allergic to cats) for me. The room was not very clean and full of cat hairs (and the host refused to reimbourse me with the cleaning fees). In addition to this, the first night I almost didn´t sleep because of a very loud fan noise. For being Vancouver, it´s a cheap solution, but be prepared that you won´t have the most amazing comfort. At the end, I had to leave one day earlier, as it was too much discomfort for me.

The apartment was clean and spacious. The host (helen) was extremely friendly and helpful, we would definitely choose this Apartment again when we come back to Vancouver.

Very welcoming, helping and kind owners!

I've been there twice and the rooms are always very clean, both rooms had a private bathroom, and on top of all the owners are so kind! They bent backwards to make sure I had a great stay and they would even come say "Hi" in the morning when I leave the room. I had a great experience the first time which is why I went back there the second time.

They don't serve breakfast, but I usually just go eat in the airport before my flight.
