It was a fair price but I felt like this was almost a hostel type hotel.

Close proximity to everything

The bed sheets were too small, however we did ask staff to fix that and they did. The jet tub in the bathroom was not working. Hot tub was not working. The common area for guests was noisy the first night. Laundry room had a leak and the carpet was all wet outside our room. Also would recommend the White Spot that is there. Very lovely staff.

Uncomfortable Sleep. Bed was uncomfortable. Bed sheet did not cover full matress with the foot of the matress exposed. Bed cover wrapped in sheets that are not enclosed and woke up with sheet covers no longer in place.

The beds were comfortable

For coffee in the room, there were no porcelain cups, only paper cups (yikes) There were no little cream/milk containers to add to your coffee and also not enough little sugar packages to add to coffee. Just little things, but the mornings in a hotel are always important to travellers. There were no cups in bathroom for to put in your toothbrush. So sad. Also, there were no hangers for your jackets in the closet. Only one hanger !,,,

Location and value for money

The location was perfect with easy access to the bus, and the cozy lobby—with umbrella sharing, rentable chargers, and a welcoming fireplace—made a great first impression. The staff were accommodating, and the rooms were more spacious than those in many other hotels. The penthouse and sauna were fantastic as well. Overall, it was a great stay and excellent value for money, especially given its proximity to the city center.

Food and dining options could have been better but it is what it is.

Good location, close to supermarkets (Choices and Nesters) and train (Yaletown). Walking distance to Gastown, Chinatown and Waterfront. Amazing common-use kitchen on the 12th floor.

Good location, near 7-11, will consider staying here again next time

The location of the hotel is great, not too far away from the Skytrain (although need to climb the slope a bit after getting out of the Skytrain station). There is a 7-11 nearby so very convenient to get breakfast and snacks. The staff has been very helpful and nice. Just wanted to say thank you very much for your help, it was a pity that I didn't express my gratitude in person as I was busy at traveling to various places in town. Next time when visiting Vancouver I'll try to stay here again.

Front desk was able to call a cab for us that arrived very quickly on site to pick us up.

Loud and disorganized but centrally located

The location was wonder—a short walk to the creek and on major bus lines. The staff were friendly.

The night club across the street was loud! I know it closes at 3 a.m. because that’s when I could fall asleep. I requested an extra bed and the hotel confirmed 7.5 months prior. When I arrived, it was not available.

Great location for our needs. Extremely comfortable and quiet beds! Clean! Nice efficient use of space with furniture and kitchenette. Nice light from windows too, if desired. Friendly staff!

My husband was in the hospital here and the staff were absolutely incredible in helping with the fact that mine and my husbans credit cards weren’t working! The rooms were great as well! Considering what I was going through I had good sleeps!

Disappointed

The view from the roof top was good, and the bed was comfortable.

Our toilet seat was old, cracked and disgusting. The bottom of the shower was yucky (stained, I had to put a towel on it to shower), overall it was old and it definitely needs updating. The view from our room was straight into the next building, so not pleasant.

Exceptional staff

The staff were exceptional. Always cheerful and attentive. They even went above and beyond when I accidentally parked in the parkade next door to theirs and got my car locked in there. It is a great location with a 7-11 across the street, and is within walking distance of so many places you would want to go to. I even noticed a club with nightly blues music across the street. I recommend this hotel to you without hesitation.

Not clean - bathroom has mould, and not all the towels were clean. Once checked in and got to our floor we couldnt exit the elevators safely due to house keeping having mess all through the hallways which feed through right around to our room. Bed linen is poor with dirty marks! Very thread bare/worn out. Room smells of cigarettes. Litter in shared spaces. More a hostel than a hotel. Unfriendly reception staff across the board We asked for our bags to be stored, and they weren't secured in a locked room

Central downtown location fairly close to Skytrain from the airport. Very friendly front desk staff.

Plumbing in bathroom needs attention. Very slow drainage in sink which appeared somewhat clogged and low pressure on toilet. Also bath tub was very old and had slippery floor. Housekeeping is every second day which i agree with but would have been nice to have an automatic restock of coffee pods daily.

Great location and clean and comfortable room.

I was in a room on the PH (penthouse) floor which unfortunately was alongside the very high traffic common kitchen, laundry and sauna facilities. I would suggest the doors on these rooms become slow-close or sliding doors so people staying in the nearby rooms don't have to hear every entrance and exit.

Great location, needs TLC.

Great location, close to Grandville Island and public transport. The staff at the front desk were very helpful and friendly.

The hotel is starting to show its age, we had to retune the tv every time you switched it on. The front door was hard to close, the floors needed a good wash. Only paper cups supplied for coffee and drinks and no other crockery or cutlery.
