We had the most incredible experience here. From the moment we arrived, everything felt peaceful, welcoming, and beautifully curated. The space is even more stunning in real life — surrounded by lush greenery, super clean, thoughtfully designed, and full of those little details that make a place feel special. The location was perfect: close enough to central Ubud to explore restaurants and shops (there is free shuttle) but tucked away just enough to feel calm and immersed in nature. Waking up to the sounds of birds and jungle vibes was honestly unreal. The host was exceptional — kind, responsive, and genuinely caring. Loved Trisna and Yoga! Any questions we had were answered quickly, and we felt supported throughout our stay.

High quality place and peaceful surroundings

We stayed in a beautiful and spacious pool villa. Huge bed, great bathroom. Very quiet and tropical location, fireflies at night. Excellent place for example to start the vacation in Ubud area. Far from centre so I would just focus on staying here for few days to unwind and then maybe moving closer to busy Ubud if you want to do some shopping etc. Kind and helpful staff. We would definitely like to return!

Perfect Getaway

Beautiful resort, nice pools, good spa, two restaurants. Staff is extremely helpful and accommodating. The whatsapp service is great.

I read in other reviews about problems with the access road, but I didn’t experience any issues. I rented a scooter and access road is fine - I think they’ve recently paved it. The location is pretty far from town (30 min drive to Ubud) - I appreciated that but it might not be for everyone. I stayed in one of the Inara rooms which was too noisy for me, but the staff kindly moved me to another room.

Exceptional stay in a beautiful property

We very much enjoyed our stay at this property. Everything was exceptional, from the extremely friendly staff to the pools & jacuzzi. The rooms were spacious and clean, the bed was huge and comfy, and our balcony offered a lovely view over the pool and also the rice fields and even the mountains in the distance. Additionally the food was delicious and we attended some of the activities they provided like live music at dinner and sunset pool party which were great. Finally, I think the overall design and layout of the property was a standout for us. The way the water lines ran through the ground alongside the pool, or the green vegetation absolutely everywhere, or the stepping stones across the grass, or the bamboo bridge overlooking rice fields, it really felt Balinese and they obviously put a huge amount of effort into maintaining it.

As with everywhere else in Bali, if you are a light sleeper it’s recommended to use earplugs when sleeping. The rooms aren’t very soundproofed and the noise from the scooters on the nearby road or roosters in the fields can be loud early in the morning. However this didn’t impact our stay.

Amazing location and room

Amazing hotel; make sure you book the pool villa which is totally worth the extra spend. There are two restaurants at the hotel but it’s also very easy to book a grab to Ubud (or use the free transfer) and visit other restaurants in the area. General swimming pool is amazing; breakfast is great.

The hotel was above our expectations. Everything was just perfect. It has a very beautiful territory and a stunning design for the rooms and bathrooms. The service was exceptional - everyone was super kind and attentive to details. Also, delicious food at the hotel’s restaurants.

IF you're looking for a calm, romantic, cozy place with amazing food and view, make sure you book it

My husband and I chose this place for out honeymoon, which turned out to be a perfect romantic place. We had an amazing time. Staff are so kind, helpful and professional. Make sure you get the massage. Food, drinks, shisha, fire dance, BBQ dinner were all just amazing. The rooms are big and super clean. They also gave us a honeymoon cake, which was the loveliest thing ever.

The only issue I can mention is the location. Roads are very thin and muddy but no worries for that cause you can get Grab any time.

Exceptional stay in a beautiful hotel with fabulous service

Everything about our stay in this beautiful hotel was exceptional. The tranquility of the location in the hills in a beautifully designed individual hut made for a serene stay and a free hotel shuttle was available to drive the 40 minutes into Ubud each day. The service from the staff was very professional, friendly and kind, always going above and beyond for us. The food, especially in the Indonesian restaurant was also delicious. Overall would very much recommend this hotel, one of the best we’ve stayed in.

A serene escape — stunning and relaxing, with a world-class team

I booked this trip as a surprise for my wife, so she could enjoy some peace from our dogs and the never-ending construction site next door to our Penestanan home. To say that she was delighted would be an absolute understatement. From the warm welcome and guidance to the surprise spa package, to staff checking her AC was working before she walked into the suite, her experience was nothing short of heavenly. Next time, I'll go — and she can stay home with the dogs... ;)

Wonderful stay in a lush tropical paradise

Inara review Our stay at the hotel was unforgettable. The property itself is beautifully designed, with a relaxing and welcoming vibe that made it a joy to spend time in and switch off from the outside world. The hotel is in a quiet and beautiful area of Balinese countryside set amongst the lush rice fields and away from the hustle and bustle of Ubud. A shuttle was available for transfers to the town. The room was fantastic with a very comfortable bed. Dining at the hotel was another highlight. Every dish we tried was not only delicious but also presented with real care, turning each meal into something special. There were 2 restaurant options; Asian and western style food which also gave us enough variety. Evenings were made memorable with the hotel’s thoughtful entertainment. We were lucky enough to enjoy some fire dancing and live Balinese music which was both captivating and culturally enriching. What really set this place apart was the staff. They were always kind, attentive, and genuinely eager to make sure everything was perfect for us. Their hospitality made us feel completely at home. We couldn’t recommend this hotel more highly it went above and beyond what we had hoped for and left us with amazing memories. We hope to stay again in future.

Great choice for Honeymoon

We have traveled to many places and stayed at various accommodations, but nothing has ever compared to this. Our suite was incredibly spacious, fully equipped with everything we could possibly need, and spotlessly clean. The atmosphere was wonderfully quiet, peaceful, and refined – truly the perfect choice for our honeymoon. The staff deserve special praise for their exceptional kindness and attentiveness; they were always ready to help with anything we needed. The on-site restaurants offered a rich variety of delicious dishes that delighted us every time. Something could be improved

- The restaurant Paoman is really good for dinner/breakfast, the employees there are nice and careful. - Nice Gym - Location is quite with nice surroundings.

• The resort reception staff lacks experience. Upon arrival, I requested an upgrade to an available villa four times, but they never followed up, so I eventually gave up. • The swimming pool area is unattractive, and no staff members are present to take orders, clear food left by previous guests, or clean the pool beds and towels. • All the roads within the resort are made of stepping stones, which are unsuitable for elderly guests or families with children and strollers, especially since the main lobby is far from some rooms. • We rented a motorbike, but the left brake was faulty, and by the time we reached Kintamani, it stopped working entirely the engine. The hotel provided a rescue solution, but I recommend checking the bikes, especially the brakes, before renting them out. • Spa staff frequently approach guests at the pool to promote massages, when they should prioritize cleaning the pool beds and surrounding areas.

Newly built villa

We lived in the three bedroom villa which was newly built in 2024. Everything is new and well maintained. We have a big pool and a butler and all staff is extremely friendly. The breakfast is very yummy, we also ordered room service which is also yummy. Villa is offered complimentary afternoon tea which is very delicious. And we also attended farm walk, kids hat painting, complimentary photography, and couple spa. Everything is perfect and we look forward to coming back soon!

Beautiful room with beautiful views, delicious food and and lovely staff!

Staff were friendly and attentive, making a special flower message on our bed and cake for our anniversary. You had a choice of two restaurants for alls meals, one serving Asian and one serving western food so you always had a good choice and the food was beautifully presented and very good as were the cocktails. Rooms were romantic with great views. It was a 35-40 min car ride away from Ubud but they do a free shuttle 3 times a day to help which makes up for it.

Best resort we have stayed at in Bali

The whole resort has such a peaceful and calm vibe. We enjoyed every bit of our stay there, from well decorated rooms to infinity pool. From stepping into the resort and warmly welcomed by Wahyuni to the smooth check-out process, everything was spot on. The food quality of restaurants inside the resort was top-notch. They offer free breakfast and afternoon tea, which is very rare when it comes to most of the hotels and resorts in Bali. I was mostly scared of insects, but I haven't encountered any in my room, provided that the resort is in the middle of rice fields and jungle. I will definitely choose Inara again whenever I visit Bali.

The location was a bit off. Hopefully, when the road will be constructed it will become more accessible.

Wonderful stay in Ubud

We liked how it was slightly further out from Ubud but there is a shuttle available if you want to go into the centre. We saw fireflies from.our duplex pool villa which was an unexpected highlight! Food and service.was great, the ladies in the spa are very professional and massages were wonderful..

Beautiful oasis in the middle of the jugnle and rice fields

We stayed at Inara with my partner to celebrate our anniversary and we couldn’t have wished for a better place to stay in! Our stay was incredible and we have only positive emotions afterwards. We were lucky to be upgraded, and we liked the property so much that we decided to stay one extra day. The hotel is a bit remote, but this made the stay even more special away from the busy city of Ubud. In addition, the hotel offers enough entertainment activities to keep you busy. The all day breakfast was delicious and so filling, we managed to try a lot of local specialties this way. Every evening there is an entertainment program during dinner, which is also very nice to experience. The hotel is very clean and new, all amenities are top tier. The territory is extremely green and luscious, such a nice contrast to the cities we usually live in. Our villa had rice fields view, and we could see people working in the fields daily. We had a spa session at the day of the arrival, which was amazing after a long flight. We booked a cooking class with Edi and we enjoyed it so much! He gave us a lot of details about the food and different ingredients, which was very interesting to find out. Staff at Paoman restaurant were incredible. We also had a tour around rice fields and nearby locations with Dharma and he was incredible! Such a calm presence he has. We really enjoyed his company. Dharma made sure that we have everything we need for the water temple visit, even little details like the appropriate attire for the temple and the offering for the gods. All in all, we are very happy with the hotel and staff, and we are honestly already missing it and dreaming of coming back to Inara one day in the future.

The best hotel experience I've had!

I cannot give enough praise to this hotel and especially their staff. I don't usually write reviews, but this hotel really stood out for us. We had been travelling around New Zealand and Australia prior to visiting Bali, so treated ourselves to a week of luxury and the hotel completely exceed our expectations. We made the most of the room service menu which was exceptional, and was the same for restaurant food - wow! It was my birthday on our last day, so they kindly left a 'happy birthday message' on our bed and a signed birthday card - a really lovely touch. We also booked a romantic dinner and was served by Dwi for the evening - she was sweet, professional, and a delight to be around. We can’t name everyone, but each team member was kind, generous, and truly went above and beyond—they all deserve our deepest gratitude and praise, and we would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking to visit Ubud!
