Oh my god, this resort was the best stay I ever had in bali! The surrounding was comfort and relaxing. After staff bring you to your room they will explain facilities inside your room one by one! Never have this experience before. I think I will stay here again if I visit to BALI again! Hotel room was clean, and also breakfast provide was good.
the private pool is a bit dirty due to it was open air. The stairs to our room also a bit not suitable for elder.

Breakfast was good although buffet would have been appreciated for a chance to try more local food. Room was large and comfortable with all amenities, welcome fruit and drink, farewell cake. Staff was wonderful. Also appreciated fact that because we did not get the view expected as per room description, the hotel offered us a free a massage. Spa was great. Got one of the best massages in my life. And I did have many.
Too many stairs because hotel built on a cliff. Not sure whether it is mentioned anywhere that the hotel is not accessible for people with reduced mobility. If not, it should be mentioned. Also too many bugs for my liking but nothing the hotel can do about it.... Would say it is the perfect place for nature and bug lovers :-)

Perfectly clean rooms, even two times cleaned per day. Nice, kind and friendly stuff. Putu, the yoga instructor hold awesome lessons.
Nothing to mention

The room service was great. Western food served was better and tastier than local food . Thank you for the free dinner. It was awesome.and lively.
What I liked was the pool outside our room and the waterfall view and sounds. I still miss the soothing waterfall sounds till this day. I may come back again.
I enjoyed the yoga lesson veryuch. Very relaxing. A good stretch in a beautiful nature.
I like the staff. Not all are trained especially the young waitress who served breakfast. She did not know how to reply to questions and had to walk to send fro to her other colleagues at the counter for help. What we did not like was the breakfast because we can only choose one item from the menu. We felt limited. One lady had to walk over to tell us that. We felt like children being reprimanded, e.g. for wasting food.. The compound outside can be cleaner and neater. The flowers and plants could be trimmed. The lighting in the cafe can be brighter
The shower water was icy cold the first night. I needed to tell them to fix the problem. The staff told me it was because I did not let the water run for 30 mins. Absurd. Overall the staff were polite and helpful.
It says there are vehicles to and from Ubud. How come I need to pay when the driver is supposed to ferry other guests at that time?

- The food was immaculate
- Staff was polite, helpful and informed
- Room was perfect 👌
- The morning walk is a must do
These are very small things that couldn't make me downgrade the score as its under my control.
- Taxi's booked to and from hotel. Can be expensive. My taxi there cost me 290,000IDR. Hotel gave me 600,000IDR back.
- Location is perfect for myself, however the situation to the main center of Ubud is a 90min walk away (I did the walk and enjoyed it) Grab has 15,000IDR for bike pickup, hotel did 200,000IDR for car transport.
These things I state are totally avoidable and shall not be graded against the hotel, only tips for people who like to save money.

This location is great. Staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. During my stay I always felt very welcoming and pampered. The food was amazing including breakfast, specially being a vegetarian we had very good meals. Room service was excellent and of course my favourite cats (Ginger). I visited during my birthday and got surprised by the staff with very cute decoration in my villa and cake which was very nice gesture of them. I am very happy and satisfied with services.
For me, first time in Bali and found this great place I have nothing to complain about.

The location is approx. 20 minute drive from ubud centre which makes it handy for exploring, but also out of the craziness of the town. It's in the middle of the forest and was exactly what we wanted. It is surrounded by beautiful forest, wildlife and waterfall/river sounds. The hospitality was incredible. We felt so welcome and cared for. We loved our Friday yoga session with Putu, and our morning walking tour around the local village and rice field. The room was spacious and made up beautifully. We especially appreciated the small touches like the note on arrival, bug spray and complimentary sodas in our fridge. We also loved how much nature we saw from our room including monkeys!
There is a massive construction project going on next door with workers there from 8-5 each day. It was extremely loud and made eating/drinking in the restaurant or relaxing in the social areas nearly impossible. We were not told about this ahead of our stay which was really disappointing. You couldn't hear the noise from our room so that was a bonus but we didnt like being confined to our area or feeling like we had better leave the resort until the days work was over. If you're wanting to relax around the resort during the day, I'd say sadly, I wouldn't recommend this resort until the works are done.
The space itself also needs a bit of maintenance but it was well cleaned and presented that you could look past this.

exceptional villas, modern and clean. staff are great and helpful. breakfast is good.
For those who like to sleep with geckos in the villa this resort is for you as the villa has gaps in the roof that let's in geckos. it has too many stairs to climb going up/down to the restaurant and pool area. the food at the bar wasnt up to standard as it caused me ameoba from eating dodgy lamb chops however the resort agreed to pay for medical bill for compensation.

Everything was amazing. It was one of the most remembrance experiences staying at Sebali Resort
The breakfast was not up to par. Needs to live up to the expectations of everything else which was so amazingly good.

We came as a couple to celebrate our honeymoon, and I have to say everything was absolutely perfect — far beyond our expectations.
Beyond the beauty of the hotel itself, the service from the staff was truly amazing. They surprised us with a flower-filled bath in our room, which was such a lovely and thoughtful gesture.
We also joined a yoga class led by Putu, who not only shared his deep knowledge of yoga but also kindly offered to take photos for us, we left the class feeling so energized and connected.
As vegans, we were deeply touched that the chef prepared a special vegan menu just for us. Every meal was delicious and carefully made.
Highly, highly recommended
There were some renovations going on at a nearby hotel, but the team was very considerate and placed us in a room further away, so it didn’t really disturb us at all.

Amazing location and very friendly staff, they couldn’t have been more helpful. Rooms are lovely and provide you with everything you need. Highly recommend getting a massage here, we got a free 30 minute massage the day we arrived and ended up booking another the next day. Really enjoyed our stay here.
Only thing that could be improved is the food. We had dinner in the restaurant one night which is quite pricey for the area and while my steak was enjoyable, my partner ordered the duck legs and when it came they had the tiniest amount of meat on them and he ended up going to the supermarket to get something to eat 🤣. Breakfast could do with a bit improvement as well, didn’t taste very fresh and I got the yogurt but it was all separated in the bowl.

The location and tropical feel from the pool was magnificent. The noise of the waterfall had a soothing and calming effect while having our massages.
Away from the hustle and bustle of the Ubud center. If you wanted to go to the Ubud center there was a shuttle service to take us there.
The food was a let down, mainly the dinner service. We felt it was not up to the resort standards especially during dinner time. Our dinner one night had issues.
Second night we ordered room service. Service was good , the food was average especially the western food.
Breakfast and afternoon tea meals were good. Had enough to eat and tasted good.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. The pool was very nice to relax after a day exploring. We used the restaurant multiple times, very nice staff and very tasty food!
If you want to go eat in Ubud make sure to take a grab on time as it is +-20m because of traffic. We noticed they canceled on us multiple times but it the end it always worked out. The resort also has a shuttle until 18:00 to Ubud so that is also nice when you go during the day.

Very cozy room, we had the room with the waterfall view and the sound of the waterfall was the best white noise I’ve experienced :) the staff is very kind and always willing to help. The location is close to city center (10 mins if no traffic).
5.0 / 10.0
Nice integration with the surrounding nature. Proximity to rice fields and other tourist spots.
They offer a meal and a welcome drink+ 15' massage which feels it is to compensate for other issues.
Unfortunately the hotel is surrounded by other buildings, construction sites and undergoing some light maintenance also. The overall facilities are dated and not well kept - feels like a ruin - so a more comprehensive refurb is desperately needed.
There is plane noise which I was not expecting, construction noise, and street noise because the road is close... It's not relaxing at all.
There are obviously bugs of all sorts around, but the lack of regular cleaning in private pool areas and surrounding areas to the villa means every time you open the door they will come in straight away - and there were plenty of ants and creatures in the room already on check in
The staff feels untrained but they were friendly.

Loved everything!!! The suite was so secluded, private. Just exactly what we needed.
We loved having the jacuzzi and pool.
Room service was great, as was restaurant.
Our romantic dinner to celebrate our special wedding anniversary was perfect.
Would stay again!

The staff were incredible, from pre-arrival communications, to organizing private excursions, local knowledge, and help within the hotel.
The location was fantastic for exploring all sides of Ubud.
The cost was such good value for money, the room was amazing, the view from the bedroom was so peaceful. The complimentary massage was so relaxing and such a nice touch.
The breakfast was delicious, I don't normally opt for a hotel breakfast, as like to explore the local eateries, but the food was fantastic.
There were building works on a resort next door, however, this didn't really affect our stay too much. as the sound of the waterfall drowned out the works.

Property is lovely
I had booked the 2 bedroom villa with a private heated pool and it came with a spacious living room and an extra bathroom too !
It's a bit far from the kitchen but they managed to give us good service
Only thing needed is soundproofing of the rooms as the adjacent rivulet makes noise at night
There is no buffet breakfast
U need to order and that takes time

The double bedroom villa rooms were amazing ,with a large sitting and dining area and an additional bathroom too !
The heated swimming pool was pure luxury and did the job of soothing off the days tiredness
The adjacent forest view is lovely .
On the down side the rooms do need noise proof doors and windows cause the water stream below does disturb u a little at night .
Also there is no buffet breakfast - so one has to order which takes some time .
Overall a great experience
The doors and windows should be soundproof and curtains need to be dark out ones !
No buffet breakfast so preying some rakes time

The Sebali Resort is a breathtaking jungle retreat that exceeded all expectations. The villas were stunning and immersed in nature, offering complete privacy and serenity. The staff went above and beyond with their kindness, professionalism, and attention to detail. The private pool, lush surroundings, and excellent in-room breakfast made this a truly magical escape.
Nothing at all — everything was flawless.

Especially the staff who were all very friendly and helped us with all our requests!
During our stay the water in our pool villa was very cold and we couldn’t get in.
As a recommendation, the prices for the photo session in the resort should be shown at arrival, before booking the photo session.

The hotel facilities were pretty good. The restaurant food was good but I am not a fan of indonesian food which is just a personal opinion. Staff was super nice and helpful. Honestly it is a quite cozy place with nice vibes and the jacuzzi breakfast was quite nice, nothing outstanding. Atmosphere at night felt nice and there were activities like live music and performances. The room was very clean and the shower had nice warm water. Staff cleaned the room everyday and they were super polite nice and friendly.
Pool in the room was ICE!! Cold, i think you can actually get hypothermia from staying there too long. We had to ask to turn off the pump so the water would heat up a little but after 2 days the water felt… dirty.
We staid in room 902 which was quite far from the entrance so be ready for a hike every morning.
Location is alright but there is absolutely nothing around but it is very quite at night, it is like 30min drive from main ubud street during rush hours.
If you like to have a walk at night around stores and restaurants maybe this is not the place for you, but if you like quite and isolated places you will love this place.

The Sebali gives you a traditional Balinese experience. You are in the jungle and that’s what you get. Staff are very lovely, and views fantastic. An hear the waterfall and creek flowing. Food was ok. We had a beautiful couples massage included which was very nice! The property is about 20mins by car from centre of Ubud which is good because it’s quiet. And only about $8 - 10 with gogek. (Depends what you want - busy or quiet) There are a lot of stairs down to the rooms which means you need to go up to everything!! Overall it is lovely but not a modern 5 star resort if that is what you are looking for.
One bedroom villa smaller that expected and lounge/ table small and not comfortable. Hard to eat Breakfast in room.

Food was average, spa was also quite average and staff was unable to get the coffee machine working
