Wonderful place 🫶

For the second time I am returning to this wonderful place — and this time to celebrate my birthday. I had a leg injury in Bali, and the way the staff treated me — with such care, gentleness, and attention — is truly beyond words. Our villa overlooking the rice fields was perfect: the cleanliness, the design, and the surrounding nature were beautiful. The nature here simply makes you forget every small detail or imperfection. But the most important thing in any hotel is the people. Human kindness matters more than anything else. The K-Club team are truly incredible people. Thank you for making my birthday magical. I will definitely come back again.

Perfect in every way, from service to serenity ❤️

We loved everything about this place! We celebrated our anniversary here, and it offered the perfect privacy we were looking for. The service was impeccable! the staff went above and beyond when I needed an emergency ride to the hospital. The food was excellent, and the anniversary dinner was amazing. We also tried the jungle spa, and it was amazinggg. Definitely will come back!

The location and surroundings were beautiful. The K Club facilities were lovely. The breakfast was fantastic with plenty of high quality options available. The staff were friendly and helpful.

It was unfortunate some of the activities like Rice field walking were not available. The cocktail course which we paid for privately was a little average.

Money firts at K-Club!

The property is ok, expected more for the very high price point. The staff however were fantastic, very pleasant.

Money comes first at this resort. We paid for an upgrade to our 3 bedroom villa wanting Paddy view and even though we never got a villa with paddy view they refused to reimburse the difference for the paddy view upgrade even though the staff acknowledged that our villa had no paddy view. Dispute asking them to reconsider on 3 occasions they refused to reimburse saying that it it because it was booked via booking.com (which is incorrect, reimbursements can still take place through booking.com). The prices at the resort are also extremely and excessively high. From breakfast to spa treatments to having the most expensive rate for extra beds I have come accross. This puts you off when you come with a family if 6… all in all we would have left a 9 if it wasn’t for their stubborn insistence on not reimbursing us for a change that should never have been charged… also the amenities are 3 star, the gym is dated and not well looked after (dirty toilets, no towels, 1 old and cheap yoga mat…). Quality of linen is 3 star.

Perfect, Relax, and Calm.

Services: Overall, the service was excellent. The team was kind, attentive and always ready to help with any request. Communication was smooth and professional from check-in to check-out, and they were very considerate about our comfort and preferences. Location: The resort’s location is stunning, surrounded by beautiful greenery and rice fields. It feels very peaceful and private, but still close enough to explore Ubud and nearby attractions. It’s a great place if you want to relax and disconnect. Food: The resort has two main restaurants: • AKAR – a steakhouse focused on meat dishes. • KABANA – specializes in seafood. Both offer delicious dishes with good variety and beautiful presentation. We really enjoyed the overall dining experience in both restaurants. Cleanliness: The villa and the resort in general are very clean and well maintained. Our jungle-view villa was spotless. In the bedroom, we almost never saw any insects. In the living room area, you might find a few small insects, but this is normal since it’s an open space and close to nature. They were not harmful and far from the main sitting areas and the pool, so it didn’t bother us. Villa & Privacy: I stayed in a villa with a jungle view. The design is beautiful and very comfortable. Privacy is 100% in the bedroom, living room, and private pool area. Only at the very edge of the villa, where it faces the pathway, privacy is slightly less, but overall it still feels very private and secluded. For Arab Tourists: K Club is very suitable for Arab and Gulf tourists, especially couples and families who value comfort, privacy, and halal options: • The villa offers high privacy, especially around the bedroom and private pool, which is ideal for families and honeymooners. • The staff understand dietary needs and can provide halal food options, which made us feel comfortable eating at the resort.

Outstanding Hotel that exceeded my expectations.

- I absolutely loved every single thing about this hotel starting from the most kind, friendly and hospitality staff I have ever met. The resort was a heaven escape, our villa was amazing, big space, the pool is big as well, everything you need is available, liked that they have speakers so you can enjoy music anytime, bedroom and bathroom were very clean and beautiful. - One of the things that I really liked is once you check-in they directly add you in WhatsApp group only for you under your villa number and can include all guests in this villa which makes the communication very easy and fast instead of calling! so awesome :) - Restaurant "Akar" is one of the best places I visited in Ubud which is in the hotel, we had such a great time there celebrating my birthday.

There is absolutely nothing that I didn't like in this wonderful hotel and it will be definitely my every time hotel choice in Ubud every time I visit Bali.

Disappointing stay due to loud construction noise

hotel itself is beautiful, the staff are very friendly and helpful, and the food is excellent with a great variety of choices. It’s a lovely place with potential, but our experience was unfortunately overshadowed by the ongoing construction and lack of proper response from the management.

Unfortunately, our stay was far from what we expected for a 5-star luxury hotel. During our stay, construction work was happening just a few meters above our tent, causing constant and very loud noise throughout the day. It was impossible to rest or enjoy any peaceful atmosphere. We informed the management about this issue, but we were told that the construction could not be stopped. It really felt as if the construction was prioritized over the comfort of the guests, which is unacceptable for a hotel in this price category. We were offered an apology and a complimentary dinner, which was kind — but it didn’t make up for the disturbance and lost relaxation. In addition, the construction workers could directly see into our shower area, which should be completely private. Again, management apologized but said that stopping the work was not possible. It’s disappointing that, in a 5-star resort, guest privacy was not treated as a priority. Another issue is that the tent has no proper acoustic separation between the bathroom and the bedroom area. You can clearly hear every sound from the bathroom, which is uncomfortable and does not meet the standard expected from a luxury property. Overall, we were very disappointed by how the management handled the situation. We would have expected at least one complimentary night or an alternative arrangement in another part of the hotel to compensate for the inconvenience.

Hotel facilities, staff, and service were exceptional. I suggest selecting a villa instead of the Hanging tent, this is purely for the stairs claiming each time you leave the room or come back. The tent is not suitable for elderly or those with knee problems.

One of the most memorable holidays in my life

I stayed with my family at a three bedroom jungle villa at K club Ubud on our trip to Bali in July 2025 and it was one of the most amazing experiences in my life. As a regular traveler it always happens that each hotel has pros and cons but K club exceeded our expectations on all aspects. The villa was much nicer than the photos on Booking with a stunning view and amazing pool and garden. The villa is equipped with all guests’ necessities and there was a water cooler in the villa which gave us enough water for drinking and coffee preparing. The cleaning service was amazing and the evening service took great care in insects prevention which made our nights calm and safe. All staff members were friendly and made us feel welcomed and always meet us with a smile and warm greetings. A WhatsApp group was created for the villa guests and the hotel quickly responded to all our inquiries and requests 24 hours a day. The food in Akar restaurant was amazing for both breakfast and dinner and they really wanted everyone to leave happy and satisfied. The hotel provided a free yoga classes three times a week in an amazing scenic place which I enjoyed and gave me a wonderful start of my day. They also provide free shuttle service to Ubud upon guests request. I indulged my self with a 90 min Balinese massage at Mekar spa and my therapist Swadi was amazing. The hotel supports locals in Ubud in multiple ways and care for environment by avoiding using plastic. On one occasion there was a minor issue in my toilet and the hotel solved it immediately which shows how hard they work for guests’ comfort and service improvement. I highly recommend this place for anyone who is planning to visit Bali.

K Club is absolutely my second home in Ubud. I’ve stayed here twice already, and I’m already planning my next visit. This is what a true 5-star hotel should be — everything was perfect from start to finish. Our villa was spotless, beautifully designed, and cleaned daily. The private pool was amazing, with hot water, which made it perfect for late-night swims — we were often in the water until 2–3 AM. Such a luxury! The staff were incredible — always friendly, helpful, and quick to respond to any request. We could easily order food or services to our villa via WhatsApp, and the delivery was always fast and smooth. The on-site restaurant, Akar, is truly a highlight. Located right inside the hotel, Akar offers a high-end dining experience with stunning ambiance. We tried the tomahawk steak, and it was honestly one of the best meals we’ve ever had. In my opinion, Akar is the best restaurant in Ubud — the quality, presentation, and flavors are next level. I fully recommend K Club to anyone looking for luxury, comfort, and world-class service in Bali. It’s not just a hotel — it’s an experience. I can’t wait to return next year!

The location in the jungle outside of Ubud was stunning and a refuge away from the busy centre of Ubud. We loved the style of the rooms, the readiness of staff to assist with any request. The care taken to ensure we were comfortable and happy with our stay. We will stay again. The restaurant was amazing. The food is beautifully prepared and excellent quality dishes.

The Club can be noisy- which did impact our stay, but only for one night. However, we did book knowing that the resort is also a Club and was likely to be hosting events such as dance parties.
