Disappointing, misleading advertising

The experience was truly awful. From the moment we arrived, the service was terrible, especially compared to all the other places we visited in Bali. The hotel is far from Ubud and very hidden. To get from reception to our room, we had to descend approximately 100 steps with our luggage. The view shown in the photos was obstructed by trees. Inside the room, the bathroom was dirty, and the ceiling above the bed was stained. It was all very disappointing compared to what they advertise on their app. Even if they had changed our room, the location and amenities wouldn't have changed at all. We decided to change hotels that same day and found much better accommodations for half the price.

Staff was very accomodating -although it's nice to maybe not have 1 song on repeat (Gayatru Mantra) ;)- but they were very quick to arrange a 1/2 day tour + a scooter. Breakfast was good and tasty. The pool is fantastic.

It's a bit of a walk down to the lower houses, so it's also a climb to go up.. but other than that it's really nice. Something to consider is a place in the bathroom to put your toiletries. There is no place for them so you keep putting them either on the ground or in the bedroom.

Will definitely return again

We stayed for 5 nights. Spacious room and bathroom with a tub. You can sleep at nights hearing the sound of a nearby river flowing. Every morning you wakeup to breathtaking greenery view in balcony. Well maintained pool. Courteous staff, always helpful for any need, any time. When we requested taxi late in evening for the next day morning, they still arranged it! As we booked along with free breakfast, they packed and kept the BF ready for our early morning ride. Thanks for the kind service. Pool breakfast is seperately charged, at 200k IDR per tray. They have scooters for rent in different price ranges. Best part, they fill you 1 liter fuel in the beginning. We also availed their taxi rental service for east & north bali day tours, they were accommodative of our custom itinerary, safe & clean car and courteous driver. But the cost is 100/200K IDR higher than what outside drivers charge. We also took the spa service (Balinese massage, facial etc), it was really good and convenient.

Room and bathroom are 80% clean, the corners and edges have sticky dust, gives mouldy feel. But the bed, toilets and bathtub are maintained clean. During our stay it rained heavily. In the nights, the wood villa can turn very cold, it was difficult to keep our barefoot on wooden floor. Hot shower was always available and we had kettle in room, but would also request to have a room heater and disposable slippers. In the spa, water poured in from all the sides of room when it was raining. It kinda spoiled the mood during spa. Though the locality is not so far away from Ubud, all shops nearby shut down early in the evening, and there are no eateries nearby. Grab / Gojek hardly deliver if it's raining. At the villa, we would have to inform early in afternoon if we need dinner for that night, which felt inconvenient because we would return to room late (cup noodles saved us).

Far away from city center, Far away from your aesthetic's expectation

Well, it has a good view of nature and greenery in front of your room, just like the picture, which gives you the "Ubud" vibe when you wake up and open your door. It's convenient and near the Tegallalang area.

It's an old building, so don't expect the reality to look as great as the pictures. The room was smelly, and I noticed some wood dust under the furniture, not sure if they didn't clean it or how. I booked it because they have a bathtub, but in the end, I didn't use it at all because the bathroom looks dirty with mold on the wall, and the room lighting setup is so LIGHT, which didn't give any relaxing vibes at all. The curtain, especially, is very thin, so the light from outside is still coming through to your room at night, which makes me unable to sleep. The WiFi was so slow, the TV was broken, or the WiFi might be too slow, so the smart TV doesn't work. The breakfast was so unpleasant, they gave you "Indomie", coffee, and juice, that's it.

Nice place and will come back!

Property is at its best location, peaceful and relaxing area. We love the place and the breakfast selection.

Since we choose the smoking room and all the way down, the ceiling of the room from above unit is thin. So we can hear guest who arrived late at night and moving stuffs. I hope they can do something about this. Overall we had a nice stay!

This was the worst hotel ever. When we entered the room, probably during cleaning, the room was left open, there were too many mosquitoes, we could not be there Our duvet didn't have a good cover, it was awful to cover yourself with it. But the bathroom is a next level, I have never experienced anything worse in my life, everything is so old and we felt terrible, as if we were in a horror movie, boards all around us, several types of tiles and the bathtub which is in a catastrophic condition, if you plan to maintain this hotel you should take these things into account and renovate the floor immediately

terrible service and theft of money

Nothing, they just stole my money and didn't solve anything for me.

I had a bad experience because 2 million IDR was stolen from my room. I had just exchanged it and left it inside my suitcase for security, as there's no safe. When I returned, I complained and demanded to see the cameras, but it just so happens they don't open to room 3. Additionally, the bathroom is horrible, with too many bugs and humidity. I also asked the person if they could reserve a motorcycle for me, but it took them 3 hours, since it is a 20-minute motorcycle ride from the center. This was a very bad experience, and I had never had one before.

The location is amazing , the view from the pool is amazing. Nicely decorated rooms.

Breakfast was poor , and the paid floating breakfast ( breakfast in the pool) had nothing to do with what was shown in the picture. I would not recommend buying the breakfast. The staff also didn’t speak good English and as a result a lot of times was confused.

The view and surroundings of the hotel was the best in my whole trip!!

The room was good but the view from the balcony was super good. This resort is in Ubud suburbs and the whole resort is like a natural scenic place. You can hear the water flowing sound from your balcony. Pool was good and breakfast was okay.

There were woodbugs in the ceiling and sometimes the wood powder fell from the ceiling.

Omg this is the best hotel in Bali! It was much more than I expected. Truly impressed by this place. The staff also it’s very kind and helpful. The hotel it’s clean, the bed it’s very comfortable, the breakfast also was good but the pool it’s just WoW and the view it’s like Paradise.

The hotel is situated in a narrow street so going with a taxi, it's a bit difficult. The view from the room is amazing. What I didn't like at this property is that they allow all night long access to the pool with parties. We couldn't sleep because of that, we stopped the couple who were using the pool and drinking there with loud music at 11:30 pm but they didn't listen to us, we told the caretaker boys as there were no one at the reception, but they didn't listen to them also. Beautiful hotel to relax in, I enjoyed waking up to the Forest.

The pool was refreshing after our day tours to come back and relax too. There is a Taxi service right out front of Hotel. Staff were so helpful & friendly.

It's not walking distance to any cafes. Mini Bar & Coffee or Tea wasn't topped up each day we stayed there.

It’s really spacey and you will feel safe

The view is not the same anymore from the pool(please update the pictures) , since they are building new stuff. Really load noisy sounds of the Tempel right next to it. (Even 6 am in the morning) the beds are not comfy and were super hard.

The hotel is quite old and rundown,we had cracks in the walls and the ceiling,dead bugs on the canopy,and the general state of the rooms was not very pleasant. The breakfast was very limited and not tasty.
