Living uncomfortably in luxury.

The aesthetics of the place were exceptional!

I didn’t like the fact that the WiFi wasn’t working. The linen wasn’t cleaned well so they covered it with lots of perfume which affected my sinuses. There were hidden suspicious cameras in the room. When we scanned, we found 3, the IT guy arrived in the morning to check and when we came after them to check again they deactivated them. When we checked in the main areas for suspicious cameras there was nothing as in 0 - reassuring us that there were hidden SUSPICIOUS cameras as they weren’t secured devices. Making us feel uncomfortable.

Perfect stay

My stay at Kayon was absolutely incredible - everything was amazing. Booked the Kayon Premier Pool Villa which was amazing. Thank you to all the staff for treating me like royalty! Special thank you to: Krisna,Tina,Louis,Windy,Marta,Adi, and Risma for making my birthday trip extremely special!

Dream in the middle of the jungle

We had an amazing stay at Kayon Jungle Resort. The place is like a dream in the middle of the jungle with the most beautiful views. The infinity pools are stunning and perfect for relaxing while looking over the green valley. The food was next level – everything we tried was delicious. We also had a floating breakfast and it was such a special experience, something we will never forget. In the evening, the restaurant had live acoustic music which made the atmosphere even more magical. The staff were so friendly and helpful, always making sure we had everything we needed. The whole resort felt peaceful, romantic, and very well taken care of. We would highly recommend Kayon Jungle Resort to anyone who wants a luxury escape in Bali. Truly unforgettable!

Beautiful hotel. Far from center.

Amazing design, statues, pools Great view from poold and yoga pavilion Staff couldn’t do enough for you, cleaned the room every time you left Good food and nice restaurant with evening program. We actually ended up eating at the hotel almost every night. Great breakfast (although would prefer buffet for breakfast and maybe more variety of fruit). Great massage at the spa, they really know their stuff (however a little overpriced)

First room we were offered had a damp, mouldy smell. We were shocked. We complained and were brought a dehumidifier, did not accept that and were moved to another room. Not sure if due to the aircon or to the humidity itself in the area, but had another room not been available, i don’t know what we would do. Main pools are kind of cold. They were the main reason i selected this hotel, to be able to enjoy the valley with the jungle from the pools. I could swim, but only for around 10 min at a time due to the water temperature. They have heated jacuzzies at every level but it’s not the same thing The yoga instructor was…bad. I understand it was yoga for beginners, however clapping and laughing after each pose and then having breaks between poses was terrible - no flow, no concentration. Then reaaaaaally pushing for a spa treatment, not in a nice way like the rest of the staff The staff are a little too intrusive - always telling us about dinner offers, massage offers etc - after a while you just wanna have breakfast in peace. I just think somebody making conversation 2-3 times at each meal was too much The hotel is far from the center…the shuttle schedule is way too little. You really need to plan your day right because of the traffic in Ubud which is horrible Can’t say i regret my stay, but i wouldn’t return, there are probably better alternatives for the same pricepoint

Peaceful and breath taking views

Kayon Jungle Resort was the perfect escape. The views were stunning, the food was excellent, and the staff went above and beyond with their warmth and attention to detail. Our villa was spotless and beautifully designed—everything felt thoughtfully curated. A truly special place I’d love to return to.

Best hotel ever

The property was fantastic, the pool, the views, the gorgeous rooms but what made the property the best we’ve ever stayed at, was the staff. The way each staff member took time to get to know us personally, help us to plan our stay and think of every little detail (eg providing a breakfast box for us at 2am before our mountain climb) was second to none! We didn’t want to leave

Nightmare

The view

Everything the food the service...I just want to share my experience as I had the worst day of my trip at this resort. I stayed there for 1 night at Villa number 805. I got woken up by the heat at 3 AM I found the AC was off and no electricity untill 7:30 kept calling the the front desk either busy or no answer eventually they sent someone to fix the issue however it wasnt fixed as it kept turing on and off till I left the resort multiple people were sent to the room to look for short circuits? They kept interrupting us horrible experience, however the view was nice. Other than that, nothing was good coming from this place. Side note there was a bug stuck on the phone wire photo attached

humidity in the room caused a weird smell, and there was spider webs almost everywhere. Moreover, with the amount of money that you pay to stay in such place they should at-least provide more activities for the guests.

Everyone should take the opportunity of visiting this resort!

Impressive looking resort set into the hillside. Sensational presentation with tiered pools. Young and genuinely enthusiastic and courteous staff. Well presented meals and broad menu.

Not close to Ubud and far from grand entrance to resort via narrow back road. Restricted mobility options given location meant you were locked into using local drivers engaged by resort.
