Quiet comfortable spot, great value

We loved our stay here in a quiet part of Lake Como. The room was perfect - nice and comfortable, the breakfast was delicious, free parking available nearby, close to the water and nice walk to Bellagio.

Excellent for a Bellagio experience.

The location is perfect for a stay in Bellagio in a quiet and convenient place. There is a ferry at the end of the street with a few stops if you want to avoid a 20 minute walk into Bellagio centro. The room is comfortable with a nice bathroom. The breakfast was plentiful with sweet and savory choices, eggs, yogurt, meat. Giovanna and Laura were very helpful. I would recommend.

Such a great place to stay. We loved everything about it. Best breakfast ever. Such fantastic service and nice people and caring and take a lot of pride and everything. They do comfortable beds as well and the location was fantastic. Highly recommend.

Ver comfortable larger room with quiet air conditioning and spacious shower/bathroom. Sufficient breakfast. Very friendly and helpful front desk gals. Quick painless bus ride into Bellagio, which was a couple of euros and on time. A couple of minute walk to a small beach as well as a pricey beach bar/restaurant where you can rent a beach chair for €10.

The host was very friendly and the breakfast was delicious. The rooms were also an excellent size and clean and comfortable.

It’s a bit of a walk along a narrow busy road into Bellagio to get food.

This place good to bunk in with good breakfast. For sure the owner is very helpful and nice.

The cities commute system is not good and prepare to walk or pay about $25 for Taxi/uber. The place is little away 1.2 miles from Bellagio. Peak season makes ferry rides worse.

Lovely setting and room was spacious with a comfortable bed. Lovely location about 20 minutes walk into bellagio but had bus stop close by. Nice cafe and restaurant right beside the accommodation which both had great food and drinks and nice setting away from the busy bellagio centre. Lots of free parking options very close to the property. Breakfast was a wonderful spread of fresh food every morning. Would definitely recommend.

I’d absolutely stay there again. it was wonderful

it was so clean and comfortable. breakfast was amazing. it was a decent walk to town but we love walking so we enjoyed it—worked off the gelato we ate every day!

there was a small section of the walk where there was hardly any room for cars and pedestrians. there weren’t always cars when we crossed this section but made me a little nervous when it was busy.

Our stay exceeded our expectations. The location is amazing, just a few steps from ferry station San Giovanni, which is very close to overcrowded Bellagio, but, unlike it, it is a peaceful, authentic place with a nice beach and exceptional restaurant just around the corner. Now more about the hotel: we felt like everything was right about this place. Its all about little things: small size of the hotel that makes it cozy; its italian style, cleanliness, kind and hospitable personnel, very delicious breakfasts. And now cherry on top: they bake pastries for breakfast by themselves! And they taste like heaven:) We just felt loved there. Thank you for everything. We hope to come back one day. Maryna and Ivan

The room and bathroom were clean. That part was fine. Breakfast spread was decent too.

There is no lift. Very difficult to carry luggage upstairs because of the cramped stairs. No one to help at the location for anything. Room keys don't work.

Great hotel on outskirts

Great hotel, the staff was very nice to help us with any problems. We had the room under the roof which was very spacious with separate living room and kitchen. Breakfast was great and plenty. Parking was available at a square just 10 meters away and if that one is full there is another one down the street.

Not the fault of the hotel, but walk to Bellagio is not so easy. During day you can walk through the gardens (paid) which are worth seeing anyways or take a ferry (almost next to Hotel), but in the night you need to walk back 15 min along a badly lit main street.

Quality products and even hand-made pancakes. - big room, even on the attic, - very clean, - with good air conditioning, - good starting point in all directions - Varenna, Bellagio or Como, The host was very nice to us and put everything in order for our arrival! It could have 2 mirrors for when the bathroom is occupied :). Keep in mind that is not in the town of Bellagio, but you can reach by ferry (few minutes), walking (it took us 10min -and one of us was ill), or there is a touristic train/bus with windows and compartments.

Nice stay Locanda della Maria

The location is great, the property itself is a nice building. Entry is very easy, you can enter at all times. For the first day your rom key is in a convenient locker with a code. The code is sent to you via email. Great system. The host is communicating via WhatsApp if needed, and gives all the information you ask for. Breakfast is very good for a B&B and is, during Conona, no set service but served. And that service is very good. Room we had was a big room. Enough space, clean, good beds, a small balcony and a airco. The staff is very friendly and helpful. This is a nice stay if you want to explore Bellagio and surroundings.
