Such great value for money

Loved everything. Pool table, darts, tea, coffee, sugar, milk, bottled water and biscuits were supplied in the cost. Plenty of pillows and comfy bed

Bit of a faf getting in despite quite good instructions. Kept having to refer back to them for 2 codes. Not close to town, which I expected, but wasn’t aware house was on top of a hill! Can’t say I noticed any views though.

First impressions were that it was immaculately clean in a lovely open plan design. Everything you need at the property

Really amazing Time.

Good location, great hosts. The property was really cosy, very spacious and done to a high standard.

Nothing, the shower could have been hotter but in the current weather it wasn’t a problem.

Lovely place to stay in quiet cul-de-sac

Bed was comfortable. Place was clean. Everything was provided: toiletries, toilet rolls, cleaning products, cooking equipment/utensils, bed linen & towels. The table tennis/pool table doubled as a dining table and was great. Dart board with darts was in adjoining garage. Several popular books & games were available for guests to enjoy. TV with digital stations in lounge area (although an actual radio or radio stations app would be a great addition). Mark popped in to say hello shortly after arrival but then allowed us privacy for the rest of our stay.

The guest garden area was tiny (too tiny) with room only for a small table & 2 chairs; no lawn or area for guests to lounge. The outside storage box contained items too dirty for use. None of the windows/patio doors on the back wall could be opened to allow air to circulate inside the rooms.

Key collection was effortless. Love the separate entry system from the main house and separate garden (if it had been warmer). Pool/Table tennis table for entertainment as well as TV with various subscriptions. Provision of hot drink making facilities and milk in the fridge are always appreciated, thank you.

The wash basin in the bathroom is difficult to get to if (like me) you have wide shoulders, which makes shaving difficult. The bathroom can be quite cold, even with the heated towel rail on.

This place was absolutely amazing, from pre booking to post booking the hosts were absolutely superb, in all honesty I could not have asked for a better experience even if I wanted too, simply spot on, very good location, parking on site for convenience, comfy apartment very homely, all the facilities and amenities one would ever require, highly recommend this place! I would definitely stay again....

A perfect place to stay in Burton Upon Trent.

The apartment was lovely and it was reasonably close to the town centre, I was attending a wedding, so I wanted to be within walking distance. It was very spacious and very clean. It was very good value for money, most hotels have gone up in price !

The weather was awful during my drive to Burton Upon Trent, it rained all the way, When I arrived, it was nearly dark and I was tired, I had to use the key safe to access the fob to open the garage door, this was a little fiddly particularly with old tired eyes! I struggled a little to activate the garage door, so I called the landlord, he was great, charming and very helpful. I finally got in to the apartment, walked in to the town to find a nice restaurant and a large glass of wine which helped tremendously !! The access to the apartment can be a little challenging, particularly when accessing the key safe on these dark winter nights " I would certainly stay again .

Great annexe but need an eye mask

Lovely converted garage annexe on the side of house. Bed comfortable, kitchen well equipped, nice living space. Books and games on the shelf, and covered pool table. Parking for 1 car on the driveway.

Very small bathroom with a tiny sink and shower, but adequate. The main issue was the light. All white walls, sky lights, and thin white blinds, so was woken very early and couldn't get back to sleep without covering eyes.

It had everything your needed, and more we enjoyed reminded ourselves we are okay at darts! I work in Burton but live about an hour away. So ocasionally need to stop over especially when socialising with colleagues, and this place was as cheap as any travel lodge or basic accomadation with all the entertainment extras to turn it in to a cosy , date night! great. The apartment is attached to the owners house (who comes out to greet you and is very professional and friendly) but it still felt completely private with your own entrance and outside area!! Would definitely recommend and will be returning!

Excellent, well-equipped property and welcoming host.

Really clean with great facilities - well equipped kitchen and great lounge and dining area. It was a flying visit for us so we didn’t have time to make the most of the living space, but I will definitely rebook for future stays in the area and try out the pool table!

There are a lot of windows and skylights which makes it quite light from early in the morning when staying in summer - only an issue if you are sensitive to this (take an eye mask for sleeping!)

Beautiful apartment, very welcoming everything you need is there, owners very pleasant, very quiet location

The double bed pushed against the wall so someone has to sleep emmed in!!!! We have a super king sized bed at home so this was really a big no, I had a really poor night's sleep.

Everything. Just wish we had had a few more days there to enjoy our stay. We didn’t want for anything. We even had milk supplied for our breakfasts. Hosts were very helpful in recommending somewhere to eat.

Bathroom sink a bit on the small side. It was easier to shower than have a wash. But bathroom was very clean. It would not stop me staying here again. 😁

The place is clean and fresh. Close to town centre.

Part of thier home, Could hear children running around above us. And I'm petrified of dogs n they was running in the back garden. My friend arrived before me, and the owner just walked into the property as she was getting changed, as they could access it from their side of house. Had the music on at a reasonable volume but was asked at 10.40 to keep it down, after paying £86 for the night we felt we couldnt enjoy our catch up.The owner kept talking to my friend and she felt uncomfortable. Property is beautiful but not very private.
