It was clean spacious and near everything we needed
The boiler kept cutting out and the kids said the sofa bed was a bit uncomfortable

Location was good only a short walk from Workington Town centre and Bus station and a 15/20 minute walk to the train station. Well equipped, and comfortable property for a very reasonable price. Despite the issues I faced I would definitely book again as a really hand base for exploring the coast and easy to get into the Fells
There were problems with the boiler while I was there (during the first cold snap of this winter) which was unfortunate, although the host did provide me with electric heaters, and I was offered a small refund as well which I appreciated. The instructions to get to the front door and the lock box weren't terribly helpful, they could do with updating, including mentioning that the big gate at the front of the alley (right next to the road) is only locked at the weekend, so current instructions confusing if you arrive during the week! Also not very well lit up there, definitely need to take a torch with you, There were torches in the property, but none of them worked.
