The Corn Mill

Wonderful riverside location in quiet village with a fabulous pub 5 minutes walk away. Very convenient for walking the Lakeland fells. Keith and Carol, who live by the mill are very kind and helpful.

Cosy and historic at the same time. You got a sense of history with old beams and the mill cogs and wheels in the entrance way

Bathroom toilet flush was rather weak and ineffective.

The location by the stream was nice 👍 It was clean The hosts were very friendly and helpful

As an old building beware if you are tall as the beams are not too high - the shower is a bit old and it is not a power shower for sure !

Absolutely everything, it's a character filled house, spacious, yet cosy.. in a peaceful location with a lovely outlook. It had everything you need for a great stay. Keith and Carol could not have been more helpful, from being great souces of local knowledge, to leaving milk and biscuits for us on our arrival.. just brilliant. We shall return, the location is great too, really close to mountains and coast..everything on your doorstep, but far enough to be peaceful. There are two pubs in walking distance, what's not to love.?
