Good stay if you’re looking for something basic

Very good location, nice view from balcony.

Kitchen was an outdoor kitchen shared with all guests. In order to put on the gas cooker, you had to hold the knob and light the fire with a classic lighter. One of those long lighters would be much safer. Payment was cash only, which was not specified in the terms at time of booking.

Quiet, peaceful, loved the view!

The best place I’ve stayed on my trip so far! A little bit of a walk from the main tourist action but it’s nice to get away from a ton of people. Some rooms at this place, have water views and that is so lovely!!!! I came in the off season, so the price for this place was great! Very close to a small beach. Room has everything I needed - mini fridge, water kettle, toiletries, hair dryer, slippers. They even have a big water bottle waiting for you when you arrive. There is a little kitchenette that’s communal down the hall.

Bed could be more comfy and plush but overall fine.

Great stay near old town with private parking

The location is perfect—near old town but also close to beach and to boat trips and to many nice restaurants in Dobrota all within comfortable walking distance. Air conditioning and WiFi worked well. Parking is quite safe. They maximized comfort in a small space—room is small and bathroom is tiny but water temp and pressure are great, toiletries and towels are great. Little private terrace was very pleasant with nice view. Shared terrace/kitchen facility was small but functional. Host is wonderful. Take the boat trip it is just gorgeous and highly recommend Moments restaurant in Dobraro about 10-15 minute walk-great food and fantastic service and ambience. Really enjoyed our short stay in Kotor!

Wish the bed had a fitted sheet over the mattress pad and not just top sheets. Only one beach towel in cupboard, another would be nice. Having to go into old town to pay occupancy tax was not that easy to find and they got the address of the property wrong at post office because we gave name of place and there are 2 F M apartments in area so that was confusing. The room, the hospitality, parking and amazing location makes this place a great spot regardless!!!!

Lovely night in Kotor

Perfect spot to spend the night (or more). What a beautiful part of the world, we had such a lovely time. The accomodation was clean, the hosts were incredibly friendly and it was in a great location to walk into Kotor old town.

Great Family Run Hotel!

The hotel was just steps from the beach, and only a 10 minute walk to the historic center. The host, Mike, was a delight! He greeted us when we arrived, and each time we had the pleasure of speaking with him, he made us feel like we were part of the family. The care and attention to detail that Mike and his family put into their small business clearly shows, and I would highly recommend this location. They offered to let us use their washing machine if we needed to, as Mike knew we were on the road for a while. We did not end up doing laundry there, but it was so kind for the offer.

When booking, I thought I would be in a one bedroom apartment, but it was just a bedroom. The kitchen facilities were located outside on a shared patio area. However, for us this ended up being irrelevant, as we ate all of our meals inside the lovely historic center (which we highly recommend).

The most perfect location with the beach on our doorstep and surrounded by wonderful restaurants

Jelena & Dave were wonderful hosts and so welcoming with the added bonus of meeting Dave’s amazing father who had a wealth information about the history of Kotor having lived in the Old Town. The location could not be better, beach on doorstep , turn left and minutes away from the stunning Old Town, turn right and you have a fabulous walk along the sea front to Dobrato passing many beautiful outdoor restaurants. Dave also offers private boat tours which was one of our highlights of our wonderful stay here. Any amount of refreshments on board and stopped off at some incredible swimming spots - would definitely recommend

Nice place in a great location to visit Kotor

Amazing location just across the street from the beach and walking distance to the center of Kotor. Small kitchen available was practical. Nice view over the bay of Kotor. Parking space available.

The street of the hotel has huge traffic which makes it difficult to get there and leave by car. Only one bathroom available for our 2 rooms (5 people) was a bit limiting. There are rooms with included bathroom.

Perfect stay in Kotor!

The hosts Jelena and David were the kindest people!! This was one of the cleanest apartments we’ve stayed in and the conditions were very good. There is a shared terrace and kitchen. Very local and so many places to eat around! Can’t recommend the apartments enough☺️

Great location, lovely hosts - 2 minute walk from the beach and 10 min walk to the old town. The hosts let us leave our luggage with them before being able to check in & also gave us recommendations for Kotor.

Great place, lovely people!

It was in a great location across from small beach with sea view and easy walking to the old town (which is just magnificent). The air conditioning worked very well! The best bit are the family who own it- they are all so kind and friendly. They also can take you on a private boat tour for a small fee which we did and loved! I would stay here again if I am ever able to go back

Two Geordies on Tour

The owners couldn't do enough for us..they offered to take us to Perast, the chair lift but in the end they took us to the airport free of charge. We also missed the first night due to flight delays which they never charged us for. The location is great right opposite the beach and promenade and the old town is only a 10 minute stroll away

Fantastic accommodation in the perfect location. Helena, David and David’s father Mahalio were exceptional hosts. They were very welcoming and helpful to us during our stay. Jelena would book us taxi’s when we needed and was very responsive to any questions we had. Special thank you to Mahalio for taking us to the airport. I highly recommend staying at David and Jelena’s property.

Perfect location for exploring everything Kotor has to offer. Beautiful views from the room/balcony and everything was super clean and tidy. Comfy bed, great shower and everything else we needed was provided. Lovely quiet location just outside the main old town but within walking distance to it, lots of good shops nearby and lots of places to eat and drink.

Excellent location, amazing hosts

The location was perfect, opposite the beach and a 5 minute walk into the old town. The view from both the private balcony and shared balcony area was beautiful and I enjoyed watching the cruise ships coming and going. There is a small shared outdoor kitchen and we were able to use the washing machine. Jelena provided so many extras that I have never seen at any other accomodation, even providing hair spray in the bathroom and traditional cake for Easter.! Her father in law Mihail was very helpful in providing information on places to visit and also a bit of history. Jelena bought us some medicines when she heard our daughter was feeling unwell. I would definitely stay here again.

The driveway to get to the apartment was steep and narrow but that is common in these areas.

Lovely hosts, lovely apartment !

First of all, Jelena, her husband and father in law are the most amazing hosts I have experienced staying in an apartment complex. They were so attentive and kind, from helping us find a taxi from the airport, to taking our very heavy suitcases to the bedroom, providing umbrellas for the rain, to ringing restaurants for reservations, leaving little treats and cake in the reception area and organising our transport to Budva. Jelena was so easy to communicate with and so helpful, giving us lots of information. The location of the apartment is amazing, so close to Kotor beach and the old town. The view from the balcony was amazing too. Everything you needed is in the bedroom and the shared kitchen upstairs too!

Super host, excellent location, wonderful stay

-We rented two rooms for our group of three, we had a private shared bathroom between the rooms-which worked great for us. -The highlight for us was our host, an amazing family, local to the area, wealth of knowledge, hospitality and care was excellent. We felt really well looked after-small things like providing umbrellas when it rained, extra sweet treats in the reception etc. -Rooms have recently been decorated, great amenities-fridge, tea and coffee facilities, extra blankets, pillows etc. -Beautiful shared balcony to enjoy with outdoor cooking facilities. -Excellent location, short walk to the old town of Kotor and easy access to the waterfront for beautiful walks along the bay. -Parking available-great advantage in Kotor -We would definitely recommend and would rebook in the future

-There was nothing that we didn’t like but to improve the experience even more, softer towels would be appreciated and perhaps a screen in the shower rather than shower curtains. *There is current building work taking place next door, this can be noisy, this is out of control of the host however important to note.

Had a nice quiet stay, and would definitely stay here again!

Enjoyed my stay here. Location is excellent. It is 50 meters from the beach, restaurants close by and a 5-10 minute walk to the Old Town. If you are in a front unit, you can see the bay from the terrace. Location was so convenient to take a quick dip in the bay, after being out & about during the day. The owner lives onsite, in a different building. Nice local family feel to this accommodation.

There wasn’t a sign, or street number posted near the road at the end of the common driveway. The apartment is set back behind another house, so it was a bit confusing without a sign or street number posted. The common driveway, to get to the property, is in between the hostel building & #11.

Superb

The view from the balcony and the terrace to the sea was breathtaking, almost surreal. The location was perfect, but really perfect. With all the apartments available in Kotor, you cannot have a better proximity to the beach, proximity to the centre, quietly tucked in a safe and sunny alley. You won't manage to beat this. The hosts were exceptionally warm and mannered, helpful and communicative when needed.

The good about this apartment and the hosts is to great to write anything against this stay. Very minor things that could be improved have been communicated to the hosts and, knowing how attentive they are, especially because they have started this venture quite recently, I really have nothing to add here.

Nice room and balcony with view

Hard to find and not good instructions given. If you don’t have wifi you won’t find it as the photo the owner gave was another property I had to borrow wifi from the hostel to contact the owner.It was a bit of an awkward interaction with the owner when I explained the challenge of finding The place. Didn’t like all the use of plastic in the place. Plastic containers for toiletries and sweets. Our planet needs out help and excessive use of single use plastic has to stop. Our planet is more important than silly luxuries. Also, the wifi didn’t work but I did get a discount because of this as it had interrupted the work I was trying to do.

The location is excellent. Many cafes and restaurants nearby, a lovely view from the balcony, and only a short walk into the centre of Kotor. The toiletries and coffee/tea supplied were as good, if not better, than in most hotels!

Exceptional

The hosts - especially Jelena - are wonderful people. They are very helpful. I have also stayed in some luxury hotels. But I have never received an accommodation service where everything is considered. Cleanliness, resources, room quality.. All was great. We went as a group of 6 friends. We stayed in two different rooms with shared bathrooms. Everything was very comfortable. The facility has a terrace with an excellent view. There is a small kitchen use on this terrace. I also give 10 points for its location. Because it is 1 minute walk from the beach. It is also 6-7 minutes walking distance to the old town. Everywhere is so close. I will never look for a different alternative when I go to Kotor from now on. Thanks again Jelena!

Very pleasant host, excellent location and facilities. I highly recommend

The host (Jelena) and family were very friendly. She contacted me prior to my arrival to ensure my safe arrival. The room was very clean and had some cute personal touches such as sanitary towels provided. The apartment is a 2minutes walk from the beach and 10minutes walk from old town so very convenient. Her father in law also dropped me off at the airport at no extra cost. I am very pleased with the exceptional service

Perfect place ever

The best choice I’ve ever made! I just can’t describe with words how perfect was my trip. I’m infinitely grateful to Jelena and David. I’ve lost my baggage in very first day in Montenegro and Jelena did her best to find (drove me to Tivat to take it from the place it found) otherwise my whole trip could be ruined❤️ and when I stepped in my room, the view just took my breath… super equipped, comfy, cosy, peaceful, everything I wanted. Totally felt like home. Just 2mins to the beach, close to the old town, markets, restaurants. I would come again and again without doubt every time I visit Kotor❤️ My best regards to the hosts, felt like family🥹
