The Old Coach House, Luxury Harbourside Apartment

Very nice flat, and great location. It was very hot but the welcome guide had good suggestions to keep the temperature down.

Parking is advertised but not available. We paid an extra £56 to to park in the nearby public car park for 2 days.

Bra läge, busshållplats 5 min bort och gångavstånd till butiker och restauranger. Alla önskvärda bekvämligheter fanns i lägenheten och utmärkt med två badrum.

Det blev väldigt varmt i lägenheten de soliga dagar vi bodde där p g a stora takfönster som inte var försedda med persienner.

The flat was clean and contained (almost) everything we needed to feel at home. It was centrally located in a quiet neighborhood that had easy access to Bristol‘s sights and night life. We were able to do everything on foot and leave the car parked on the street close to the flat (for a nominal £5 daily charge).

It was sooooo VERY hot! The bathroom upstairs was hotter than a sauna, and the toilet seat even burned to sit on. To be fair, Bristol was in the middle of a heat wave, but there was only one small table fan in the flat. There should be at least one for each floor. There are also no shades in the bathroom upstairs, which has an entire wall of windows that go up to the ceiling. This is an issue for two reasons: first, there is no way to block the sun, and this is why it gets so hot in this room. The second issue with the lack of shades is that the neighbors can actually watch while you’re in the bathroom, and there is no way to prevent this. We actually witnessed a neighbor while he was staring at us in the bathroom, looking at him eye to eye. Very uncomfortable!!
