Location, size, cleanliness, warmth, equipment in kitchen. It was easy to access and we had a great time

We would have appreciated instructions for using kitchen equipment, hooks in bathroom for clothes , bedside lights, another comfortable seat- beds for 8 but sofa only for 2, tea towels as we are happy to wash up instead of using dush washer. Mature visitors!

When I called and asked them if ignoring my questions repeatedly was acceptable, the woman on the phone basically said yes it is normal 😳🤷🏻. Internet and tv didn’t work/ had to email them about this.

Great value and location

It was in a good location, easy walk through the park to the Old City, and there were some nice pubs and places to eat nearby. We were sent an option for discounted parking around the corner, which was a real bonus, and timely information on door codes to get into the building and the apartment itself. Great value.

I wasn't expecting not to be able to see out of the windows. They are opaque because the apartment is on the ground floor at the back of the building and there is a walkway immediately outside. This made the apartment feel a bit claustrophobic to me, I'm afraid. And people were hanging around for a couple of hours out the back one evening till about 11p; they didn't disturb our sleep but it was disconcerting. It also meant we had to be careful about opening the windows for air.

Two WEST streets exist in Bristol . Though we arrived at the wrong one in the sketchy neighborhood first….that neighborhood was slicker than the actual ghetto that hosts NAP Bristol City Centre . Walking thru smoky hallways to find two number nines ; our number nine had a patio with an over flowing ashtray full of cigarette butts soaking in rain as we read the nice instructions “ if we so much as smell smoke in your room - you will be fined $250 “ . Every footfall and sliding chair , every slamming door in the building…we could hear . Bathroom light and patio light could not be turned off in order to sleep in darkness . My husband watched an overdose victim convulsing on the sidewalk outside .

Fuffy towels and good bed linen

Flat 4 was very noisy with windows that did not block street noise. Blinds were inadequate to block out any light. Glasses in cupboard not clean Flat 10 was much better, but one room is like a cave with very low lighting levels and both showers leaked from the shower rose

Misleading listing meant we had to book elsewhere

The apartment is in a decent location, and clean and well presented throughout. It would have been fine if the listing had been accurate.

The listing is extremely misleading, and the host fobbed us off and refused to do anything about it. We'd booked the three bedroom option, but when we arrived it was really two bedrooms - one had a double bed, and the other had two single beds and a double on an open mezzanine floor above. Both rooms had en-suites, but the second bedroom's ensuite had no door or covering, and a mirror along the opposite wall to the room entryway, which meant absolutely no privacy while showering or on the toilet. We'd booked this as part of a work trip so were staying with colleagues - the listing clearly states three bedrooms, and there are photos of more bedrooms than were in the apartment. I phoned the host when we arrived and was promised that a manager would call back to help us sort, but the phone call never arrived. Subsequent calls to the host were not answered. The lack of privacy meant we ended up having to book another single room in the city, costing us almost £300 more for our two night stay.

Carpets were stained. Freezer was overflowing with ice so door couldn’t be shut. No blinds for the bedroom windows and no pole to shut an open skylight.

Generally comfortable

The layout of the apartment meant that everyone had sufficient space to enjoy the place. The location was convenient for getting into the city and railway station, and provided a comfortable place to rest.

The location was next to a busy main road and entertainment facilities (pubs) which were a little noisy, especially when the windows were open - which was nearly all of the time because of the hot weather. It would have been nice to have some form of forced air movement (e.g. fans) to provide relief from the hot weather.

The central location made for an easy walk into the town centre.

The accomodation was a bit cramped for three adults - better suited for two. The shower room/toilet was ensuite so not great for more than a couple. TV could not be connected to the arial - cable too short. Some noise overnight from nearby properties.

Was a great location, beds were comfy.

The property was very hot. Even with all the windows open due to the windows all being on the same side of the building you couldn’t make a draught to let some cool air in. Sofa bed isn’t the biggest to fit 2 full grown adults on. Was a good job We only had 7 people attend the weekend in the end due to one person being ill as it would have been a squeeze on the sofa.

Apartment very bare. No special touches. Not even a tea towel. No WiFi or TV for a whole day. Bifold doors broken leaving apt unsecured. £250 damage deposit. Not very clean. Noise from apartment above. Customer service not great. The team didn’t seem to care that we had to sleep in an unsecured apartment (apart from Marina). The time I wasted trying to get issues sorted. I get that things go wrong but for the money you’d expect better service and facilities.

Centrally located and good spacious apartment

The apartment was easy to locate and check in instructions were clear. The apartment was clean, spacious and the kitchen was well equipped. The apartment we stayed in (downstairs) had a great outdoor seating area, large doors opened for great air flow. The beds were comfortable and the apartment was an easy walk to the city centre.

The apartment was surrounded by bars so evenings on the weekend can be noisy.

The staff is very helpful

Staff responded quickly

The washing machine was leaking and the hot water tank was not working, resulting in no hot water for showering. Fortunately, the staff responded quickly and found someone to repair it the next day. However, they had to enter the house to repair it even if no one was at home. Apart from these, overall good

When we arrived and couldn't manage to open the key box, the staff came with seconds after we called the office. The lady who help us, Nicole, is very friendly and helpful. The ensuite bathroom for each bedroom is a bonus, the kitchen is big and well-equipped.

The Wi-Fi doesn't work during our stay. Will need to wait around 20-30 minutes to make sure there's hot water between showers for the four of us. A thicker clean towel in the kitchen and 1-2 more garbage bags may help.

Great location with great restaurants and cafes on the door step. Surprisingly quiet considering on a main road.

I thought the kitchen was poorly equipped as there was no oven glove. The oven was not clean. Lots of equipment but no basic supply of cooking condiments/oil. Unreasonable to have to buy everything when only there for a weekend. The sofa had eight worrying knife slashes in it which we told the host about as did not want any issue with deposit return and they apologised but it was very poor when I had paid over £500 for 3 nights. There was only one bedside lamp in the bedroom although there were two night tables.
