Frederick Place - Your Apartment

Beautifully decorated, high ceilings and spacious. Decent shower. We didn't use the kitchen facilities but they looked good. Area was nice and felt safe.

It could do with a carpet clean as the rug in particular was pretty stained.

Good location - nice size rooms - clean and tidy

The fridge was missing its door bottle holder - you could see where it’s broken off and then stored in the fridge. The carpet was a bit stained could do with replacing in heavy traffic areas.

We liked the separate entrance and courtyard area. The decor was modern and we liked the open plan design. The apartment was not far from local amenities and the university.

The apartment was quite dark. The black out velux didn’t work so the bedroom was in darkness 24/7. You could open the velux but it was in a tree so we didn’t want to open it in case we let in creatures. We did message the host but nothing was done to repair or rectify that. There were areas that hadn’t been cleaned before our arrival which was after 4:30pm. Large spiders behind sofa bed and a lot of dirt and cobwebs along skirting. Food behind sofa bed. Spiders in bathroom with webs connecting toilet to toilet roll holder. Black stains on carpet in bedroom. This apartment was to sleep 4 people. The sofa bed was incredibly uncomfortable and the one person sleeping on it considered the floor on night two it was that bad. Essentially sleeping on metal bars with little padding. Only 3 dinner plates in kitchen. It was incredibly hot in Bristol at that time and they only provided one fan. As this was a ground floor apartment, there was no air flow.

Very clean and good location

Obvious that hearing had been off a long time - was very cold and took ages to heat- there were no curtains on 2 windows and so that let the cold in too. The oven also did not work The front door was not secure for most of our stay and was buzzing
