Felt like a home from home

Nothing, it was excellent

The peace and quiet. The cleanliness. The powerful shower. Wifi - once we located the router. TV (once we worked out how to use it) reception was super. Great value.

The keycode the night before would be good. Intermittent signal at the property itself meant accessing messages after a day on the road was messy. Perhaps a curtain to cover the hoover cupboard. Minor items like a dishcloth, tea towel, bin liner would have been handy.

cellular service was difficult in that area so it was a little difficult upon arrival to comminucate be we managed in the hand and the owner lives next door so once we had the wifi it was ok.

It was an ok property.

Unfortunately when we arrived we wanted to move the bed as it was too close to the eaves & you’d hit your head & that’s when we discovered the dirt on both sides of the bed. And a towel wedged behind the bed. See photos. Two lamps were provided beside the bed but there was only a plug socket on one side of the bed. It looks like the bed probably should be around the other way as there was a socket over the other side of the room where it could be plugged or if the bed was turned around. I requested that the owner give us her email address twice so she could see the dirt we had cleaned up. She offered to come up & clean but we were gone out. It should’ve been cleaned before we got there. You can see that corners are not cleaned, behind the doors & skirting boards were dusty. It lacks some basic things like the mirror in the bedroom could put up on the wall instead of leaning against the wall. A small wardrobe would be better than the chest of drawers & rail. A toilet roll holder on the wall is basic enough & should be provided. You could even put in a free standing one. We were provided with half a toilet roll which I honestly could say is just downright ridiculous. Only one hand towel was provided
