Great community pub with comfy bedrooms

Parking is a little tricky

Loved everything about this property! They were so welcoming, and the pub had such a lovely local feel like the kind of place where everyone knows each other. The kids loved having games to play while we ate, which was a fantastic touch. We had a wonderful experience and would highly recommend this place! ❤️

Couldn’t fault it at all

Great location and friendly staff.

Online it says continental breakfast is served but there wasn’t breakfast. The shelves and drawers in the room were dusty and had hairs in some so I had to clean before unpacking. Listing doesn’t explain that the kitchenette is a communal kitchen, it looks and sounds as if it is part of the room. The washer listed as in the room is also communal but is never empty as it is always full of hotel bedding so not available to use. Hairdryer wasn’t in the room as listed, this was in a communal kitchen and there was just 1 between all the rooms to share.

Comfy beds. Very clean. Great shower, good water pressure. Lovely, friendly bar downstairs. We both had the beef stroganoff which was excellent. Staff are friendly and doing a such a good job! Very impressed and will be back :)
