Highly recommended dog friendly cosy country escape with open fires near M4

Rachel and Richard were fantastic hosts and made you feel welcome from the minute you arrived. Their home was cosy, comfortable, and clean and was a lovely relaxed space.

I booked this as a birthday treat for my daughter and to say she loved it would be an understatement. The location, breakfast, comfortable beds and fabulous hosts. They loved it so much they plan to go back! Thank you for making them so welcome!!

Nothing...couldn't fault it!

I don’t even know where to start — the hosts were the nicest people ever: incredibly considerate, friendly, and warm. Their dogs are absolutely adorable and clearly love it when guests play with them! And the décor… perfection. Everywhere I looked, I was amazed by the exquisite details, beautiful lighting, lush plants, and gorgeous colours. Every little corner felt thoughtfully designed. The location is fantastic, too — peaceful and quiet, yet still close to all the local attractions. Richard was also incredibly helpful and generously shared his expertise when we were deciding what to see the next day. Breakfast was delicious, with lots of yummy local products. I honestly cannot think of a single thing I would change about our stay. 10/10 simply isn’t enough — these hosts deserve even more! We absolutely loved our time here and would happily come back in a heartbeat.
