Landlady was really helpful despite it being a very busy weekend (Carnaval) so they had initially said the kitchen was closed - did manage to rustle up burger and chips - although we really appreciated the food, it wasn't the greatest burger - but I will put that down to how busy the pub was so probably not to the pubs usual standard.
Room was clean and family room has ensuite - not sure that all the other rooms do

Incredible location, great walking distance to many of the places we spent most of our time over the stay. The staff were all lovely, especially the lady that checked us in! It was good value for money.
We hadn’t realised it was a shared bathroom as it says this nowhere on linkedin, potentially our mistake, but could be clearer. Due to it being shared, it wasn’t exactly peak cleanliness. The mattress was a bit springy, and where the carpet met the wooden floor it was ridiculously spikey and really quite painful.
