We stayed in room 5
Pros:
-Kind staff
-The room inside was spotless and perfect for our needs
-Comfortable, warm and luxe beds for us all
-incredible bathroom and shower!
Cons:
-Nonexistent WiFi that didn't even come up as an option on my phone or tablet...
-In-room TV didn't work at all
-The seal to the room entrance door was damaged enough that it was very difficult to shut let alone lock which made us worried and unsettled...
-when I alerted the staff to the issues it was noted and I was told the manager would look at it, which never happened....
-we were told to go to Ty Martin round the corner for breakfast in the morning for 8am however on agoda i specified included breakfast, (which Ty Martin was supposed to fulfill), but it was NOT INCLUDED and I had to PAY FOR IT!! This is clearly not as advertised.
Conclusion
All in all we spent £85 including a 5-piece option breakfast each, (see the Ty Martin menu).
Against a loss of:
£25 breakfast
£5-10 value of wifi
£10 value in-room TV
£??? Room security
Total
£40 - £45 + room security value...
knowing this I won't be returning with my loved ones unless the agoda website changes the Lamb and flag advert AND I am recompensed £40 minimum to cover our loses, (especially the breakfast) and how unsettled we felt during the night...
Honestly I'd ask the full amount back for our rooms but I would accept £40 and the assurance that the door seal be fixed, (it's not a labour intensive task but one that needs doing immediately)

I haven’t visited Wales for over 30 years and needed a quick overnight stop to my destination. I was warmly welcomed and shown to my room. The room (4) was a very decent size with twin beds and had everything I needed. The bathroom was clean and the shower was probably the most powerful shower I’ve experienced. Check in was simple as was check out. If there’s anything to criticise it’s lack of direct parking however the pay and display was only a few minutes walk and inexpensive. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay again and the room was excellent value for money.

Cannot fault the staff but the room was poorly presented. Poor quality mattresses, no mirror in bedroom. Venetian blinds dusty but on the whole the room was clean.
