Good location for visiting Shrewsbury and eating out. Room One was attractive and spacious with a comfortable bed and its own kettle and fridge. It was on the ground floor with the bedroom at the front of the house.
At certain times of the day there was a lot of traffic noise in the bedroom ( the sitting room was fine). The host warned me about the bedroom being close to the road, but traffic noise does not particularly affect my ability to sleep.
The car park was a a little further away than I anticipated - as suggested by the host it is a good idea to get the Shropshire parking app.

Good location just a short 5 min walk to the town centre. Room 5 is where we stayed. Room size is incredible, there is low beams as you first enter but we were warned about that when we booked it and it's part of the properties character and there is signs on either side of the beam to remind you to duck if need be. Clare and Lisa were great at communicating with any enquires that I had. Overall it was a lovely stay and will definitely be back.

Great location, perfect for exploring Shrewsbury, which we've done many times. Looks lovely from the outside, very, very old building full of creaks and character. Giant comfy bed and big screen tv were nice.
Was excited when I saw the house in the flesh and realised it was a Tudor era property. That changed as soon as we got in. We let ourselves in to the poky little kitchen to be greeted with someone's washing up and a strong smell of cooking. (This washing up stayed there all weekend on the draining board and was never put away. Other people cooked in there and some just left the dirty plates on the work top and left them there. We didn't use the kitchen but we got the impression that the kitchen was being used by other people who rent rooms or bed-sits in the building who are not guests. The way up to the rooms is dark narrow which is to be expected. Found room number 5 and let ourselves in. A great big room, a room I remember seeing on the website but looking a lot more worn out and tatty than the pictures. We had a nice weekend and ate a loy of nice food. Was just disappointed that the room/s (can't speak for the other rooms) was in need of some tlc. The ceiling light fitting was hanging off and the wardrobe and chest of drawers handles were loose. It all could be so much nicer because the building itself is beautiful.
