Good value for money

The location was good with pubs, shops, and restaurants nearby and a short walk into the city centre. My room was very spacious and clean with all the basics; tea & coffee, hair dryer, fridge. The bed was very comfortable and I enjoyed using the balcony in the morning. Overall, good value for money.

The fire alarm went off in the middle of the night and as there are no staff on site, this necessitated an emergency phone call by the guests and we were standing outside for 15 minutes at 3am until it was safe and sorted. Also, 10am is a little early for check out.

Great 2 night stay at The Shores.

Location, parking arrangement outside otherwise not sure where we could have parked.Staff very quickly mended a broken toilet.The water filter in reception is good.Good correspondence beforehand..just need to add a contact number for faults and a code for the games room.Exercise room and quiet study rooms a good bonus.

I think the radiator is broken cos there was no heating in the room but most likely my fault if there was a way of putting it on that I didn’t know how and my fault for not letting anyone know about it

Was ok for a base to sleep.

No mirror in bathroom. Dusty. No catch on bathroom door. Loose screws on hinges. Never saw cleaning staff to request items such as replacement toilet rolls, drink making items.

I stayed before on right hand side. Beautifully done and clean. Left hand this time, not renovated but still comfy, warm and relatively clean. Perfect location for beach walks with a slight sea view.

Booked left side, our error. Toilet cistern coming away from wall slightly, minor repairs/ maintenance but awaiting renovations which I'm sure will be great.

Once we’d figured out how to access everything, was very straight forward lol, really clean, spacious, comfortable. Would stay again :)

Bit of an awkward-ish location in my opinion, if you drive you’ll have no issues, but not a fun walk back from town centre after a few beers…

Lovely clean and modern room with a balcony. Very nice shower and bathroom. Comfy bed. Really close to beach and town in a very quiet area. The check in process is very easy if you follow the email . Excellent value for money and will definitely choose to stay here again.

Amazing location and beautiful stay

Clean and literally 2 mins from the sandy beach! Amazing location and the room was lovely and had everything we needed, the place felt well kept , bed was clean and comfortable, the place is close to so many things and the price was brilliant

I liked everything only thing I’d mention is the shower, when I went to take a shower I noticed on the wall tiles there were some body hair and so I feel like it should have been cleaned more thoroughly, but overall the stay was amazing and that didn’t ruin it at all

Room 3 really nice big size and lots of natural light

Stayed in room 3 and it was very nice, nice big size plenty of natural light and the bed was comfortable. The room was very clean and you could just about see the sea from the room 😆. Bathroom was very nice and as someone who is very tall 6ft6 the shower was great. I could actually stand under it with plenty of room to move around. Two radiators in the room which my girlfriend made use of and a fan that i then made use off 😂. All in all great room. There are no staff here so you just collect your key card from a lock box on arrival. Location is great with the beach literally 5 mins walk from the front door and bournemouth town not too much further. It’s also by my favourite little family run Korean restaurant, miso.

If i had to be picky, i would have liked a second chair at the nice big desk. Girlfriend and I needed to do some work occasionally so someone had to sit on the bed. The only issue we had was they have a fire alarm test i think on Wednesdays which is fair enough and the property does mention this in check instructions however they said it would be between 10am-12pm for a short time but it went off at 7am for a good 15 mins.

The location was perfect. About 13 minutes away from Bournemouth Square, the beach is right behind the hotel. Beautiful environment, friendly staff

Everything was great except shower

I didn’t like the smell in the bathroom. The shower has no doors around resulting water constantly going out and wet floor. I tried to keep the bathroom door open and clean the floor but it doesn’t work well

Highly recommend hotel!

Super room, impeccable cleaning, comfy beds, new and delicate bathroom, good location, affordable price, kettle, coffe and tea. Quiet, small bottles of shampoo, conditioner and shower gel. Bath clothes. Newly renovated room, crispy bed linen. Enough power outlets. Easy to follow instructions for check in. Quick and good answer upon contacting the hotel in advance.

There was nothing we didn't like, but teh room would be even better with some sort of shelves in the shower, and a bench for the suitcase :)

Amazing location

The location was perfect. Less than 15mins walk to the town centre, the pier and high street shops. Beautiful cliff side park overlooking the sea. Amazing, we loved it and will definitely stay again

Sign in bathroom saying don’t drink the water was a concern!! Mould on ceiling hatch in bathroom. Shower temp variable. No staff, tired hallways and doors. Car park a must but spaces fit a smart car and one has a lamppost in front of it and one used for bins.

Location and the bed was comfy

The shower head was not and did not attach to the hose, we phoned the contact number to a management company and they said that they would call back but didn’t. There were stains on the ceiling, big holes in the netting on the window and the drawers were falling apart.

Lovely accommodation within close proximity to the beach

I booked a room at the shore to attend a family function in Bournemouth. The self check in process was very convenient as I just let myself in when I was ready. The room I stayed in exceeded my expectations and was clean and beautifully decorated. I’d definitely recommend The Shore!

The hot water was more warm than hot but this wasn’t much of a big deal. The toilet brush could do with replacing.
