This hotel is in great location(next to the beach). The rooms are quite big but outdated with squeaky floors and even unbalanced floors, reception area, cafeteria, lounges are all outdated.It gives the feeling of the 80’s when you enter the reception.
I think this hotel is mostly booked for tours for the elderly from different places. Apart from the elderly(no offense), we only saw three families with kids at this hotel, that might be because we stayed for 1 night only.
The staffs were very friendly and helpful.

The Bournemouth Sands Hotel is in a pretty good location, with the beach just a 15-20min walk away. It is near bus stops, local restaurants, and a convenience store.
The room has basic amenities (no air conditioner, but with an electric fan). The decor is a bit old, but we didn’t mind, as it was just a place to sleep. There were a few spiders and some cobwebs, which I just decided to ignore for the sake of my sanity.
The hotel has a small lift, and it can be a bit of a wait at certain times, so we usually took the stairs.
We had breakfast here, and the Full English was a good bargain, but the Continental was a bit disappointing.
Their staff were helpful and friendly.
Please remember to bring your PASSPORT or at least a photo of it when checking in, as this seems to be a requirement.
Overall, the location is unbeatable, and this hotel is nothing fancy, but is good value for money.

We've been there for 1 night only. Room was clean, bathroom as well alright. No hair dryier and iron. Free of charge cancellation - first time happened to me that hotel declined even if requested 1 week before arrival. Overall rate 3/5
